Mind-blowing fact:

Rodgers said: “We are in the top three Premier League teams in terms of efforts on goal. But our conversion rate is not good and we need to improve that.”

The woodwork curse from last season has already begun. By my count, it is 3 now. Borini - 1, Johnson - 1 and Gerrard - 1.

They may need to practice shooting slightly below.

They just need a smaller goal in training. A foot narrower and a foot shorter. That should do it. laugh.gif

Old man possibly afraid Red fans will taunt his team and demoralise them for the whole 90 mins when they meet us in Anfield hence the good gesture. Havent seen him giving a 2 foot about us all the time until now.

It's a goodwill gesture after his fans taunted Liverpool fans during their game (chanting it's never your fault), even though he had expressed for them not to. He just dropped by to show that despite the actions of a few fans, MU are behind the families.

Good that rivals still stand together for occasion like this. Unlike some idiots who sang and hurled bad things the other day... pure "class"

Actually, he's always been urging fans not to abuse one another especially when it comes to MU and Liverpool. I don't fancy him but at least he still have the decency to do this.

I think in this instance, we need to take it at face value. Ferguson is a lot of things, but he's not evil and we should appreciate the good gestures shown by anyone in this period of solidarity.

It's because it is a human disaster where many innocent lives were lost. This transcends even the strongest of rivalries, it's no longer football, it's lives we are talking about. There's nothing more valuable than life in LIFE itself, not even football. Credits to SAF and Everton FC.

Those monkeys chanting at Old Trafford put shame to their beloved MUFC and are not fit to call themselves fans of football. Disgrace!

Unfortunately, fans like those exist in all quarters even in the Liverpool camp. Songs about the Munich disaster come to mind.

While I applaud United for condemning the actions in public, it's best to just ignore those 'fans' and focus on what is important - which is the fact that justice is finally being served and the families are finally getting the treatment that they deserved 23 years ago.

Nope. He's more technical, has good positioning, quick feet, great first touch ability, game intelligence and the most obvious is his aerial threat is much more than Caroll. Above all, his finishing is better than Caroll.

If he join us, I hope the woodwork curse wont fall upon him.

By the way, I hope Red Fans in Anfield will jeer MU for the whole 90 mins and torment them. That's going to lift our players to produce a result. biggrin.gif
