I'm expecting us to crawl up the league on our 6th league game, and the December fixtures as well if we got no major injury of our key players.

Let's see where we stand on the turn of 2013.

Yup. Easier fixtures by then. Hopefully strings of wins will get us going by then. biggrin.gif

Hmmm...I think it would be best if thread followers can read properly a comment, before they comment..as your comprehension reflects your level of understanding..

A lot of misunderstanding in the thread can be avoided if one really read through a comment instead of jumping the gun and felt slighted and took it as a hint of attack...it is meant as a veil of criticism to those who lack knowledge
*
bro, fans also come from various age. Not all is 30yrs old above. They just want to express their feeling, this is human nature. Enjoy the game and life. Also enjoy reading the comment because some comment would make us LOL. biggrin.gif

A lot of misunderstanding can also be avoided if you avoid using abusive/insulting language directed at your own brothers of the Red. It only makes you vulgar, not knowledgable.

1st match of this season was taught as easier fixture also.

At current form and ability to score goal, there is no easy fixture.

West Brom with Steve Clark was not an easy fixture. Clark was our defensive coach so he would know a thing or two about defense. But yeah, our lack of tooth upfront would make any fixtures a real challenge.

I don't know about you guys, but what I saw last weekend was there was more patience in the final third. More patience equals to more chances created. In the 2nd half of the match, at least.

We still have a few issues to sort out (Skrtel's brainfarts, Suarez's poor form and the lack of a decent LB) but it's coming together, slowly but surely.

Bring down expectation that staying at 16th in the table?  sweat.gif

The performance of recent match is not something to be happy about.
23 shot on goal, 6 on target against Sunderland, sums up the problem the team current has.

As said for another 3-4 matches still can score or can win, we may be more impatient fans. No offence, but reality can blame totally the fans.

The team may have lot of possession, but real threat to the goal is not as good as possession stat shows.
*
Mind you, Brendan Rodgers took over a team who had a very poor year under Dalglish. What was the record again? 11 league losses in 2012, isn't it? It was relegation form.

Anybody expecting BR to turn over the team in a short period is having unrealistic expectations. If there are fans who start moaning after 7-8 games into the season? Sorry, but these people do not fit to be Liverpool fans.

thats for us to have a say........

the encounters had always led to a reds victory at anfield........

except for last year when they were "lucky" to snatch a draw.

but we compensated that with the victory in the FA CUP.

so? its not exactly us under pressure...........

Yeah. Just trying to intensify the fans ahead of the weekend clash. Liverpool has always been performing better against bigger clubs and especially united. This season though i felt liverpool is alot weakened. Still i think its going to be traditionally fiery so good luck for both teams smile.gif

Spanish newspaper AS linking Liverpool with a move for highly-rated Fernando Llorente.

They claim that Liverpool have intensified their interest in the Spaniard, 27, and could even look to sign him in January.

The player himself was quoted today saying he will be leaving Athletic Bilboa next year.

“I can not guarantee that I will still be with Athletic in 2013. In January I’m free to talk and I will consider all my options,” he’s quoted as saying in The Mirror.

“I had some interesting offers in the summer, but each time Athletic referred them to my release clause.

“There is of course a chance of renewing my contract with the club – I’ve spoken often with both the president and the coach, and they’re helping me in every way possible.”

At 27, Llorente doesn’t fit the FSG desire of young players with a high re-sale value, but a proven forward is a top requirement for LFC at present – with only Luis Suarez and young Fabio Borini as their options at present.

Llorente’s contract expires next summer and Bilboa are likely to cash in on him in January. Therefore FSG could look to sign a player at a lower price than his actual value.
