During my primary school era, I am poorfag so, I went to my neighbor house to play video games and he played CM97/98.
He dont allow me to pick/create new team, but ask me to be his assistant and run the game while he went to toilet or something. I kena marah when his team lose, he blame cuz I dont sub tired/injured player
CM2 97/98 was the best ever. I go from knowing nothing about football to memorizing the first eleven for all the team league in just one semester break.
I took Leyton Orient BTW. Becase the name sounds cool.
true it was an awesome game XD
but my first reaction to that wall of text game was like...wtf!? just text?? haha, im just a silly kid who are craving to play video game dat time.
Looking forward this late Saturday night game, hope the team can bounce back and gain 3 points. The truth has been shown, lads should really get some boost from this.
His first game, too eager to impress and prove something to fan and club maybe? But not a bad performance by Assaidi overall. If Downing haven't contribute to an assist last nite, Assaidi rating could be better than him in the flank department.
The own goal, I still remember Dillion said he wish to see the ball bounce from Evra head and score an own goal. Too bad it happened against Young Boys and not to Manc eh, lol
edit : Downing can deliver a good cross, yes. But he always whack the ball without looking for our men in the box first, sad. However, for the sake of scoring, strikers or any attacking player should have known Downing well, he prone to make an early cross. IMO, others need to attack the box when seeing Downing running with the ball on the flank.
Most of the times, I noticed we are lack of men in the box. Thus, most of our crosses is wasted.

I think that's a good suggestion but the problem is that a lot of times Downing has the habit to turn tail. So if you a striker you be running around like a mad dog trying to figure out Downing's intentions. Sterling is a good example of an intelligent winger. Take the Sunderland match for example. He gets the ball at the far right flank, he looks up and doesn't like what he sees so he decides to bide his time - giving our players the time to readjust themselves. He does it by beating a defender to edge closer to the goal, and then takes one final peek before delivering a half cross that finds Suarez.
What Sterling did in Sunderland match was a brilliant move, indeed.
It is a bonus to have such vision and trickery talent, especially for a winger. Decision making is vital, too bad cant see that in Downing. Not to say that he is a bad football player, but perhaps he play better with direct and quick football.
Aww man, I love Downing since his with Boro. Sometimes I tried to hard to defend him when ppl whack him.
If only we play direct football, things would have been diff for him. Poor u Downing
Er.. We also got Suso and Pacheco and possibly Jay will be returning from Bolton. Still abit overcrowded right?
Sahin : not sure if he's gonna stay with us. Stevie G : cant be a regular anymore in the future. Henderson : we can see BR dont fancy him dat much?
Suso: FSG planned to develop him and sell later with skyrocket price in the future. BR knew this and thats why BR are looking for future replacement. lol
ref ruined the game ? am i the only liv fan here that actually thinks both decision was okay ? i mean come on, yes they were pretty soft, both the penalty and red card, but if i were the ref, i think i had the right to sent shelvey off. and the penalty was an alright decision, its not like its a CLEAR DIVE or anything. there was contact, no complains from johnson, he did so well to try to recover, reina prolly had a chance to save it anyways.
i think suarez complains too much, gerrard shud tell him to concentrate on the game, yes the red card spoiled the match for us, but that is not an excuse. if chelsea can beat barca 1-0 with 10 men, y not us.
n yes, i finally saw the complete gerrard in shelvey if u guys know what i mean (gerrard going in 2 footed when he was much younger )
You the one mentioning about bpl being owned by united and calling it united premier league and calling a team dirty champion and blaming referees and team of corruption want to talk about honorable? Yea there are fans like that every where but you just put yourself into the same boat as them. Dont be too quick to judge on people la
Oh and if you are so againt the premier league, why are you still watching it. You can watch the fa cup and league cup coming soon to. Or the prestige champions league, go see how your team fare agains the top team of eu....oo waii..
all right now. all of us have enjoyed a great discussion here, dint we? Unfortunately, those 'unlucky and lucky' stuff does happen in football and so the drama involved. Nothing much can we do as a fan but to discuss amongst us and have our opinion to be heard and show some respect
Yeah the table don't lie but its still too early to put a full stop on it and based from how we perform last nite, lets hope we can do that in our next match and only improve on upcoming matches
let's move on ok, we have a big worry ahead knowing some of our key players are injured.
Someone mentioned that Shelvey be out for 3 games, EPL rules are that if 2 red cards = ban for 4 games. This is Shelvey's 1st red card. Correct me if i'm wrong.
ermm. i believe if got straight red card, confirm 3 match ban?

3 games automatic. If he appeal and gets rejected, extra 1 more match. He shouldnt appeal. He will never win the case.
