is Dell ST2320L a good monitor?? I need to get a budget yet reliable monitor for my new rig.. Tight budget for the Ultra edition as I want the delicious MSI GTX 670 PE~ ><

i saw the U2313H on the shop i was like Fu lamak! The display is gorgeous.. Too bad I'm out of budget.. Might reduce my GPU gtx 670 pe to gtc 660 ti pe thou.. >< tough choice..

There's a good reason why many recommended the U2312HM over that one. You can check this previous post here and decide yourself... brows.gif

I would like to give some feedback on my Dell ST2320L that I've used for around 1 week.

I received the monitor about 3 days after I placed the order.
However, they didn't put in the Power Cord in the box, I emailed them and wait for another 5 working days for the cable.
I use my spare Power Cord to use temporarily while waiting for them.

Display wise, the monitor is mediocre.
Please be noticed that the monitor is a LCD with LED backlit.
It is not a LED monitor, the black is not true black but lit up by back light.
For a true LED, when displaying black color, it is just like you turn off the monitor.

For color, it is slightly yellowish but maybe due to weak viewing angle.
Opt for a IPS, the viewing angle for TN panel is very poor.

The build quality is pretty solid, may last some abuses.

Wonderful piece of technology for a very low price.
Love my Crossover.

Same panel as the Shimian, but of course the shimian is cheaper.

If you are not buying an IPS, you are buying the monitor for its design. So, take whatever you want after considering the service/warranty. TN panels are inferior compared to IPS. While this is not a good analogy, IPS is like DVD whereas TN is like CD. Sooner or later IPS will take over TN as a mainstream LCD panel technology.

If you have never seen a hardware-level calibrated IPS panel, take a look and you'd know how much you are missing biggrin.gif

Got from eBay.
$320 Crossover with Height adjustment.

Need to send message to seller to ask for cheaper price and justify it by saying that shipping to Malaysia is cheaper than shipping to the US.

ST2220L is a 1080p screen with 0.248 DP
U2312HM is a 1080p screen with 0.265 DP

Ordinary people would tell you that U2312HM is better for the eyes biggrin.gif

No Dead pixels.
Not sure about the backlight bleed, but it looks pretty good to me.

Case is very sturdy with the metal backing.

Hi cyntrix....has any customers of yours complain about that U2312HM won't respond when the user leave the computer for awhile and when they come back they have to force click restart button for the 2312HM to respond?
