Many people complained that the S series is too reflective for them, careful for potential buyers who are gonna place it under very bright lighting condition.

Guys wanna ask. If connect from desktop to monitor, usually from desktop is VGA  or DVI?

It depends on whether you're connecting from your integrated graphics or graphics card. Most if not all dekstop computers will have VGA port from the motherboard for you to connect, however if you have a graphics card with DVI port, you're better off using the DVI port, as it has better performance.

Let's say i have the latest graphic card. It has DVI and Displayport right? Then connect to DellTM  U2312HM. Means i should use Displayport connect to displayport? or dvi connect to dvi?
Graphic card got displayport?

Not all graphics cards have DP but most mid-end and high-end cards will have it.

What the different between them

The glossy surface of the S2340L is notorious for it's largely reflective screen under certain lighting circumstances. However, the glossy screen does make the colors look more vivid/vibrant, some do however claim that these colors look too sharp, unnatural or fake.

If there's constant light source going toward your monitor, I recommend you to avoid the S series (including the S2440L, over-reflective in my opinion. Opt for the U2312HM instead for just twenty bucks more.
