Got from eBay.
$320 Crossover with Height adjustment.

Need to send message to seller to ask for cheaper price and justify it by saying that shipping to Malaysia is cheaper than shipping to the US.

I'll give that a try. Hopefully I'll be able to shave off a few more dollars from the $289 price tag for the Shimian

just got my U2312HM... damn sexy... high difference as compared to my old samsung TN screen... no regret!!

U2312HM is the way to go...

at first sifus here recommend me this display, but it is quite expensive..
i was in between the LG ips234v and U2312HM as LG cost Rm50 less..

then again, as i compared side by side, U2312HM looks better in overall as in the colour, the responsiveness, the overall design..

I notice some ghosting in the LG ips234v~ ><

the large 1080p display and the ips is so clear that either gaming, movie or photo editing is so pleasant in the eye~

it worth every bucks~ smile.gif

I think its inside another smaller box? I remember when I bought my U2412M, it came with the big box and another smaller box with some cable inside... not sure if its the VGA cable or the power cord inside as well.

yaya, i know IPS is superior/better than TN technology, but IPS monitors are out of my budget, and it only has 23" model, right? sad.gif

23" is too much for my eyesight laugh.gif
Bigger and better is always welcomed, not the opposite... tongue.gif

Just use the same type of power cord as used on your PC's. No need to consider the power rating as LCD monitors are low power devices. Also no need to worry about the fuse rating as well, since internally the monitor also has a fuse. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hello guys, I need some help. Could the dell u2412hm be worth the money? It's 1" bigger and is 16:10 instead of 16:9 ( I think ) but cost 300 more! Anyway, do enlighten me more on this issues as I have little knowledge about this. Thank you all smile.gif

Personally i would go for U2412HM because of 1200P vs 1080P

Did you set any power saving modes such as (hibernation, switching off monitor after certain inactivity period, etc) on your PC? hmm.gif

Did you use hibernation? Try switching off all power saving modes. Sometimes it will take quite a bit of time for the monitor to respond (and detect your graphic card signals). Also which cable connection did you use? What did you do when the monitor did not respond? hmm.gif
