any triple display users can let me know some info regarding triple display ? I am planning to pull trigger to get the dell u2913wm and currently I owning two u2312.

if I use these display landscape mode, will it be too wide ?
is it using three identical display have more advantages ?

I am basically doing photos, works(multiple display is advantage), movies and very light gaming(20% of my usage).

I also wish to try gaming on triple display! so basically I am digging info regarding buying a same 3rd screen or u2913wm.

Btw if I go for the u2913wm can I know will i pushing the GTX660Ti to its limit?
normal games like dirt, borderlands 2, etcs will run smooth at that reso with alteast medium settings?

Ultra wide ratio is good for multitasking.

But if u're into movies, while most movies used the same ultra wide aspect ration, some movies especially those in imax format are better to be viewed in 16:9 ratio.

I believe gtx660ti is sufficient

hi all sifus, currently i plan to get a bigger screen size for my pc games and ps3. Currently using Samsung 2333 and dont know which to choose

27 monitor or going for 32 led tv?

heard that if going for tv the screen will lag and looks not very nice. If tv is a choice, which aspect or model should i go for?

it is about resolution, not just size.

32" TV is based on 1360x768 or 1366x768 since it is a TV. it has large pixel pitch and user are watching it with an appropriate distance.

while 27" inch MONITOR are based on 1920x1080 which still has quite big pixel pitch and some 'rigid' gamers choose this type of resolution and this type of size to play a game with some distance. while normal desktop/workstation monitor has 27" with 2560x1440 resolution which has small size of pixel pitch and user can use it with 1-2 feet distance from eyes without seeing too much pixelated images.

Just got myself a Dell S2340L. Previously using a matte IPS monitor. I prefer the glossy screen, but I have to say it put much more strain on my eyes compared to matte screen.

Not that bad actually, but that could be just me. There are reflections during the day (my room has no curtains) but you just have to learn to ignore it, same with laptops, smartphones, tablets etc.

SmartContrast: 20,000,000:1
Pixel pitch: 0.265 x 0.265 mm
Viewing angle: 170º (H) / 160º (V), @ C/R > 10
3D Viewing angle: 80º (H) / 12º (V), 3D CT<10

Accurate colours does not equate to the over saturated AMOLED screens typically found in Samsung devices. White balance is another huge problem as the whites in most Samsung AMOLED appear very brownish whereas in laptops, it's the opposite, very bluish. My Dell monitor was more greenish instead but solved by using a pro colour calibrator. Now the colors are damn accurate and professional prints came out perfectly

erm SAMOLED is a totally different screen panel than IPS or TN. personally, i find it too blueish and too saturated to be used for daily monitor. and besides, the older the LED/LCD monitors, the weaker the LED lights inside, which causes dimmer screens and 'yellowing effect'

I just got myself an LG 23EA53 IPS 23" screen a few days ago from LYP (Viewnet)

Found out that the wide viewing angle is not as good as advertised (IPS-wise). And noticed the backlight bleeding issue. (Picture attached)

Is this level of bleeding is considered normal? Should I just keep it & move on, or go for RMA/exchange/refund? If I were to go back to Viewnet, is their return policy any good/easy?

Thank you in advance.

its not about colour saturation but contrast ratio of va panels
ips will never beat that deep black tone

if backlight bleed 50% in total dark room, i will definitely return the screen.
