i also got problem accessing iptorrents using maxis ftth yesterday, but didn't test using another line that time. but now i can login back without any problem

Stable? Do you have to retain Thomson for VOIP?

for now i have no voip.. but as per connection its very very stable during weekdays.. but during weekends i get disconnections about maybe 4 times a day but it auto reconects so its not a very big problem for me as idont game.... i just surf download stuff and host a ftp server

mine already ok too.

I am looking for an alternative router that has dual SSID, hence eventually I can 1 SSID with say 2MB allocation and the 2nd SSID with full 10MB (or 8MB, depending on the setting) allocation. Any recommendations?

how to enable it ?? I check around my router setting .. can't see the configuration option for this..

I'm using Maxis TechnicColour v3 router. I have the same few seconds disconnection problem between my wifi devices and the router. It happens few times a day, almost everyday.

Added on November 19, 2012, 12:13 pmmy gaming experience since BF 3 (private IP) till now Fifa 13 (Public IP) good never had a problem with the router(disconect) whatever

my fifa 13 PC firewall no longer "restricted" NOW "open" / "moderate".

ping on BF3 SG server as low as 14

Thanks, had been doing it since the previous Thomson router but no one fixed wifi channel will stay good and stable for at least 3 days. Have to to keep changing channel and it was very frustrating.
I wonder why I don't even need to change wifi channels for the past 10 years when I was using Streamyx with Linksys wifi router.

maxis ftth to starhub recently has risen back to 110ms+ which is sad

in august was 220ms+ but in september it managed to be around 50ms just like streamyx did but now back to high ping again

Anybody know when the Maxis IPTV will be available? Waiting for this now.

these days, new routers have a thing called auto channel selection which periodically scans the wifi surrounding and changes channel automatically if necessary. That will result in a few second disconnection when the wifi jumps to different channel. I have experience this with some of the newer asus routers, maybe that is what is happening with this Technicolor v3 router. But best to check with Maxis if it's an actual problem....

Any fix for the pings?
