QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 24 2012, 11:12 PM) Sorry bro, must have missed that out. But then again, it only tells the difference, but not the benefit. If I am not mistaken, it even said that there is no difference to the link speed? I presume the link speed affects the download speed.Added on October 24, 2012, 11:32 pm QUOTE(coo|dude @ Oct 24 2012, 11:17 PM) Sorry bro, must have missed that out. Can anybody summarise all the Pros and Cons from this 2 ISPs??
And probably spoiler it in the 1st few posts??? going through 77 pages of mixed reviews are.... sorry, but... I am really curious about the real performance of the 10Mbps line.. Is it as good as Unifi?? Aspects like Average Speed, Ping, P2P, Connection Issues, maybe a more direct comparison (from majority of the users) in a certain place?? I am a gamer, i will prefer lower ping and go for unifi5 if the maxis is really bad at it...And i also do BitTorrent downloads once in a while (for new online game installers, they're getting more and more huge ) And i from the recent posts there are connection issues?? Can someone guide me through this as i am planning to upgrade from ADSL and i am not using unifi ATM |

Anybody here with 20Mbps and 30Mbps package? Are disconnection and high ping times problems only isolated to the 10Mbps customers? i also want 2 know here This post has been edited by skylinelover: Oct 25 2012, 11:00 AM |

QUOTE(klnet @ Oct 25 2012, 10:04 AM) Hi, im new user for Maxis Home Fibre. Is there any way to change the wireless "Actual Speed (Mbps)" higher than 54? Use a wireless N high speed router.... And your package maximum speed wont even exceed 30mbps, you wont benefit from faster wireless speed between ur wireless device and your router |

Yup, you're right. I'm unsure why they put it so but actually they can just give a better description than the existing one Correct me if im wrong guys. Added on October 27, 2012, 7:26 pmOne thing I discovered is that, once you obtained the Public IP access, actually you still can connect to Private IP using back the @home.maxis.com.my. It works with my account. Not sure whether this applies to everyone or not This post has been edited by kiawin: Oct 27 2012, 07:26 PM |
