HERE is something to read. Seems like best solution is the BTX solution.

hmm .. if not mistaken having cooler facing toward the GPU had temperature 54c ...

While having the cooler installed on other side of GPU with fan blowing toward the card achieved 55c ...

Lastly cooler installed on other side of GPU with fan sucking air away achieved 58c ...

I hoped I didn't translated it wrongly ....

Hmm, I thought that fan blowing towards the card achieved higher temperature? While fan pulling the air away from the card achieved lower?

Yes, you can fit it the 80mm fan with the bracket...at least that's what is written. The Silverstone FM92 is actually a 110mm fan fitted unto a 92mm casing.

Delta...most of them are really loud. Panaflo is good. Can refer to AllnGap's Blow Out Sales for more fan options.

If you do find the clips, tell me where to get 'em as well...been looking for a very long time for them. Oh, and the anti-vibration strips as well.

Hmm, I have some extra sound-proof materials for my car. Does it work as anti-vibration and noise reduction as well? biggrin.gif

do u really need the anti-vibration rubber?
actually now i barely can hear any sound from my system,
the cpu is put of the table,
just beside my mouse,
and wat I hear is only the fan at the front panel there sucking the air into the casing...

In case the fan don't fit right, the anti-vibration strips will counter the shaking fans.

nothing much on the heatsink itself

just the new Accelero S1 Rev. 2 now comes with a new flexible mounting mechanism

multiple screw hole sets

and modifications to the heatpipes enabling it to fit a wider range of leading graphic cards

VR Zone: Accelero S1 Rev. 2 Fits More Graphics Cards

I wonder performance could be increased by adding to more pipes into the heatsink .....

It would be interesting to see how far design of this cooler could maximize its performance within the given size,,,
