Yeah thats right, i'm using VF900 now bought from Sri Comp and u know what, the VF700Cu is cheaper than VF700AlCu coz they have put wrong price tag , so go and get it.

My GC is 6800GS, stock cooler temp idle 52C/ load 75C, with VF900 the temp is idle 42C/ load 59C only... nice cooler.

lol.... that mod is easy and dun worry wont crack the core wan if u take necassary precautions,.... neway i would recomend the hr-03 coz performance is very good. but then it doesnt work with some cards, like 7300 and 7600 iirc...checl the compatability on its website...

lol...still it cant beat the legendary artic silencer series,..... imo the accelero isnt taht good, in real world performance is not as good , coz it is a great cooler theoradically. but if they could improve on teh artic silencer design, they can have even beter ....

that's the problem with Thermalright HR cooler, the compatible issue, why won't they make it universal cooler  

TR will fit but have some issue, & its not too serious, is just that u have to place a non- electrical conductive washer

anyway, irangan, better for u to wait a while for the TH HR-03 Plus to come out, i bet this time it will be a universal cooler & who knows, maybe they add extra pipe or can mount 120mm fan (dunno can fit it)

at 1st they state that X1950Pro can't fit, then the real issue was that it made contact with the PCB, why don't u personally ask TR bout this

Ok, here's why i'm saying it's cool:

Below are temps without any overclocking done
XFX Nvidia 7900GT - stock heatsink [damn freaking small ] - 55degrees
MSI ATI X1800XL - stock heatsink [Believe me, it's damn freaking big, twice the size compared to Nvidia 7900GT stock heatsinks] - 58degrees

Yeah, it's just 3degrees difference, but still, if you compare the size of the heatsink, you will know how cool Nvidia graphic card is...

In the earlier days, i'm a die hard fan of ATI cards, but after i've used Nvidia graphic card myself, i'm starting to fall in love with it...

The performance, the temperatures vary so much!!!

The price of HR-03 is not overkill, it's suitable with the heatsink itself, look at the heatsink itself, and compare it with other vga heatsink with lower prices, don't you think that the price of HR-03 is suitable?

The VF-900 is RM16X, which performs lower, and the heatpipe is only one.
while the HR-03 is RM185 from me *ONLY*   and the performance is higher, and the heatpipe is 4, then don't you think the price of HR-03 is suitable?

Yes, the X1950Pro has a line of voltage regulators near the core which need cooling. Now it's handled by the stock heatsink, so if you switch, you'll need to get some heatsinks on that too.

As in terms of price, the HR-03 is actually a good deal IMO @ RM185. Much better than the similarly priced FC-ZV9. It's flexible too in terms of fan configuration and orientation, that alone makes it good value to me.
