Just tested the GX810 and GX710 on the 7600GS replacement i got from my cousin. Noticed that the both of them perform on par...

lol..i guess if you are using an good aftermarket cooler with AS5, drop of 5c and more shouldnt be a problem..

Wow..looking at that aerocool vga cooler, wouldnt that have a problem with clashing with the side panel..lol..looks good but not sure how well it performs.

Anyone knows whether previous generation GC Cooler will fit on those custom PCB on the 8series board?like the one on Galaxy?

it can be done if the owner only has a gpu n no other device... but is it useful when put it into casing??? or maybe the new tr gpu cooler better n i guess price oso very close... i think they only do that when they r doing benchmarking, not for all day long pc usage...

It's very large and takes too much space. Besides it's freaking heavy and stresses the PCB. Wouldn't be wise mounting it on longer cards like 8800GTX etc.

The picture is abit blur but it seems the motherboard is not in a casing therefore the GC is not supported by anything rclxms.gif

Imagine how much time it takes before it breaks...

Hmm may i ask, is it all of you let the GC fans run 100% speed when running game? Or use the programe detect the speed by temperature ?

i didnt use any program to detect the needs for the GC fan to run full speed.

i'm using vista preset graphic driver for my nvidia 7600gt. and when starting games, the fan will spin at full speed. Other than games, opening the window of MSN, Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Media Player 11 will make the fan spin at full speed too.

in my experience, vista requires more graphic detail processing (AERO effect) than xp. Maybe it is all about the drivers that control the fan speed. U can check the the driver software to configure ur gc's fan speed if it has the controllability of the fan. wink.gif

Ok i installed the smartDorctor for my fan control ( asus card software )
For firstly i use my GC, when play game run full speed, no run game not full speed. But sometime i heard the sound like ( let say fan speed 1,2,3 1 = slow 2 =normal 3= full speed ) 2 suddently become 1 then turn back 2. At that time i'm just search net or downloading something. Is it ok for my GC's fan ?
