bro, how's your K5? So far so good? Satisfied ah?

Had it for over a week. Very satisfied with it.

Just came back from show room. Didn;t know the current version do not have GPS/LCD screen and the seat cooling system........ a bit dissapointed. Still thinking.. Forte 2.0 or K5.. hmmm..

if budget is ok~ go for K5

From my driving style and point of view, here is my pro and con

Forte 2.0 -
lighter and smaller makes it perform better, with build in LCD and GPS, cheaper

K5
Simply beautiful, more stable and quiet on highway but less acceleration. better sound system

i think the range for K5 and Forte 2.0 is not so near.. of course engine wise it's similar, but take Peugout for example.. they share the same engine for 308, 508, 3008 and all... does it mean its the same range?

i didn't notice but does the old version comes with all the LCD and GPS?

so far so good, no weird sound, wiper are ok, sunroof are ok (those are comment complaints), FC acceptable ..

ya..so sad..only imported version K5 got come with LCD/GPS screen

no dude, all current K5 is fully import (CBU unit), but without GPS/LCD head unit... and most of the head unit u see in youtube is lefthand drive, there is after market head unit ..but im not sure how it works yet.. and most import, will we have to scarify our Infinity sound system or if we install the head unit by our own...

The LCD/GPS is just the interface and the infinity sounds system with 8 speakers will should be able to link to the LCD interface without any issue. The SA from Glenmarie mentioned the GPS/LCD can be installed from 2-4k. 2k are those non-original and 4k are originals.

4k LCD HU is with navigation? Man, hope this is true.

This one cost around use 460 and they ship to Malaysia. Now need to find some one who know how to install it...

Buddy, I think this is not for Malaysia market as we are right hand drive NOT left hand drive. And, I don't think any of the china factory is producing the right hand drive module now, so got to wait some more huh...

Does anyone facing air con problem on your K5? How did the SC solve it?
I am facing the air con issue but SC has no idea to solve it.
When egine starts and set air con temp to 22~ 23 deg, feels cold.
Then it blows hot air after few minutes, no matter car is in stationary or moving.
Even set air con temp to 20 deg, It just feels like a normal cold air.

go other SC and check...u can claim warranty at any service center, not necessary only the place u bought ur car
