I'm still in warranty too. 13 months old car already 26k mileage.

Not quite entirely sure the difference btw the full and semi but I love my car so just make sure it got the best oil for it to survive longer

What I heard was semi only can last 5-7k after that the oil will not be good to ur engine. Whereas full sync can maybe up to 10-12k. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. As I prefer to do service every 10k, so I opt full sync. Of course pricer.

If you service it at every 5K, a good mineral or a semi synthetic oil would do the trick very well.
On whether semi or fully... It depends a lot on your pocket. I always believe that if you want better protection use better oil but maintain the OCI.
Some cars are sensitive towards the lubes used, as they are built differently from different technology. smile.gif

I watched comparison video about s4 and HTC One. And S4 won, however, some articles said 'experts' prefer HTC One. lol

Pros and cons. You like the HTC design and build ? I like it and the front speakers are awesome. I dont have to turn to the back and listen to some super soft voice or music/video.

It can be a TV remote control including astro box, dreambox, home theatre. Very cool. Many more for me to discover.

If you follow most of the people mindset that foreign car > local car / Japanese Car > Malaysia Car, yes you made the right choice. smile.gif

Toyota cars are reliable.
But since their resale value is high, I wouldn't buy it 2nd hand because too expensive. tongue.gif
Will definitely look away from Proton and Perodua no matter what, unless budget is really a problem here.

I had a SAGA BLM before my current VIOS. I could feel the BLM was like having hard time when pushing the drive to 100km/h.
But VIOS, I totally do not know when i'm shooting over 100km/h. THis is amazing driving experience that toyota promises to give to customers - the comfort drive smile.gif

Installment just Rm100 more than local car only (compare SAGA BLM vs VIOS J spec). Get la Toyota tongue.gif

How's the mileage for that car? 140k++?
How much is the selling price?

Just to share my experience..
I own the early '07 vios.. gonna reach 150k mileage soon..

but i feel the Toyota fully synthetic oil not that good... should have stick with semi in my 3rd service, lighter acceleration and i don't mind going every 5000km for service...

the fully synthetic makes the car's acceleration sluggish around 6500-7000km... cannot tahan so every time i changed at 9000km doh.gif

yup smile.gif
1st service - 1000km - mineral
2nd service - 5000km - semi synthetic
3rd service - 10000km - fully synthetic

fully synthetic is 0-w40 has high viscosity than semi 5-w30... acceleration on semi is better, lighter...
FC increased a bit after changing to fully synthetic cos need to rev more to move the car...
the engine is less noisy at higher revs (>4k rpm) if use fully synthetic
