TRDs are too mainstream, I wanted something unique like Viper, G-limited or Genius.
I stayed at PJ, so as long as its cheap and locating just around PJ and KL will be fine for me.

Hi all, I own a J spec medium silver Vios, I've just added skirts on my car and there's very obviouscolor difference and very BAD workmanship! My front skirt is not in proper position and very ugly because of the color tone!
Can someone intro some place around SS2, that can help me touch up my skirts to be the same color as my bodykit, and also help me fix my skirts to the right position? FYI, I bought my skirts in Danau Kota shop name U H Accessories, strongly not advisef to buy from there! |

QUOTE(lung85 @ Feb 24 2013, 11:52 PM) i same with u, J spec medium silver, my car 3 month old. The more I look at the skirting, the more angry I got. Its totally unacceptable! Its not 100% fitting and the workmanship seriously sucks. What's your advise?i using AirMaster bodykit which cost me almost 2k, the color seems ok but if u look long, the color is no 100% same, this is due to car bumper material is no same and install at outside, but at least my skirting all in proper position. juz color a bit no same. if u wan repaint n reinstall , better sell off ur current set n get a new one |

QUOTE(frantic912 @ Feb 25 2013, 12:50 AM) same as me...rear bumper not fitting well....hate when looking at it....just waiting if i have money..change to other type bodykit.... which skirting you're using i have problem with my car now..just 10 months only...the body got electric static after i drive....dont know why...wait until 20K km for service then check it.... wiring still standard without sound system whatsoever.... statics? wow grounding issue.. best to look for accessories shops or go back to toyota and let them know the issue, it can be a major problem, get it done ASAP QUOTE(kelvin_87 @ Feb 25 2013, 01:22 AM) I am Vios owner who install GT Street bodykit myself. You can checkout My Ride. thanks for the pics, but I found yours is 100% fitting and shape.. check below for picture..You can easily re-position by yourself especially the front skirting. Painting wise, either you bring to body shop for painting or you wrap it with carbon fiber sticker Since the colour dont really suit our OEM colour, I don't think you can resell it too except at very low price. BTW, what glue you used? And the holes? Mine is drilled onto it already.. Please advise QUOTE(Thunder_Bolt @ Feb 25 2013, 04:42 AM) ![]() I'm having trouble removing the fog lamp cover, the top part is blocked, and out of shape. ![]() If I know how to stick it back, I will make sure I stick that bottom part. |

QUOTE(lung85 @ Feb 25 2013, 01:41 PM) one is install another type of bodykit outside, and trade in old bodykit, or repaint the whole thing and install other places why spend a new bodykit when you already have one? I'll try to argue with them about this and see what they say, I felt that I got cheated with such quality |

QUOTE(lung85 @ Feb 25 2013, 07:43 PM) dono, i order n when they come only this color, cos i order frm KL, and spray also done at KL, i frm kuching, don even have the actual photo juz the brochures . of course there's cabling to be done, if you're using normal bulb then not much stuffs you'll need to do, just connect to power source (you can use mirror controller power i plan to get a fog lamp, can install my own o nt? if no really hard i think can diy myself, if need to cut cable different story already. BUT, if you're changing to HID, your car may not have enough power, you'll need to take power directly from battery, going through relay and then only to switch and HID ballast. QUOTE(kelvin_87 @ Feb 27 2013, 04:40 PM) Hi Henry, bro, if I unscrew it and screw it back again, you want me to drill a new hole? Thanks for refer me back here. Mine bodykit do have gap too especially on the fog lamps there. The surrounded fog lamp cover do have gap which doesn't really fit the the car. You can't see mine gap cuz it is not obvious And I can't remove my fog lamp cover without taking off the front skirt. The bottom part, can easily re-stick with silicone double sided tape to close the gap. But I agree your your skirting seem out of shape from the picture fog lamp there May you shall try DIY the front skirt again. 1. Undrill the screw from side, then pull off the whole front skirt. 2. Scrap off the tape residue on your car body and the skirt back with pen knife. Use paint thinner to scrap the remained residues. 3. Clean and dry your body and skirt. 4. Re-apply with silicone double take on your front skirt. 5. start to stick from center bottom part, then slowly re-align to to sides. 6. Once fitted, screw back the hole. Colour wise, hmm... try polish it, see can change colour or not lol so we both have problems taking out fog lamp cover the only last question is, what to do with two tones of my car another thing my friend, notice the TRD sportivo rectangular shape fitting at your spoiler? I thinking of customizing a GT Street logo on it, you wanna join in? This post has been edited by Henry217: Feb 27 2013, 07:10 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(kelvin_87 @ Feb 27 2013, 11:50 PM) Hi Henry, actually there is a very obvious color difference Happy to hear from you again. Yea, probably u need to drill a new hole. Don't worry, drilling is easily for front skirting as the bumper to be drilled is a plastic. Unlike side skirt, is body where you need to drill through metal You silver ride is rock from the photo, actually dont really see the gap too From the picture, the 2 tones colours not that bad. My skirting have a different black colour as my body too, though is not obvious can when I see it properly, I can see the different Mine spoiler don't have the rectangular shape embedded, low quality spoiler do you use a driller to drill it in? I don't have such tools probably the one and only GT Street version Vios in Malaysia This post has been edited by Henry217: Feb 28 2013, 12:44 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(kelvin_87 @ Feb 28 2013, 01:24 PM) Haha, then your car is unique in the other way Because TRD spoiler is much cooler Yea, I get a driller from my friend to drill in Hehe, never though you would take the TRD spoiler fit with GT Street skirting. Same as mine BTW, how much those silicon double tape cost you? I need to look for friends who can help me drill holes |

QUOTE(lung85 @ Feb 28 2013, 10:59 PM) juz did my 1k sevice on dec 22, so the next service is 3 month/5k from the date u purchase the car or is 3 month/5k after 1k service? you can either go back after 3 months or go back when milage reaches 5k.. People who drives often will reach 5k in about 1 and a half months, you can go back even after 4 months, as long as you reach 5k.. I only service my car when the targeted milage reached |

hi all, I got a question, I'm thinking of adding LEDs inside the grill and engine so that when I open up the engine, you can have a full view of my engine without torch lights..
1) adding LED at the grill, will police kacau? 2) need professional guidance, which power source should I take from? *I had installed a HID not long ago, power source direct from battery through a relay as I don't have enough power to source from power window.. Currently my internal front seats has LED strips below the pedal for both seats, and the power comes from power window.. |
