bro from my experience and sample of engine oil and other parts now days clone is very close quality from looks ... some time expensive does not mean ori...
*
well i remember there were some raids a few years back on pirated engine oil.
im sure the syndicate is very much still in business today.
and i dont think original quality is at par with cheap pirated products.
usable yes but would it perform the same well no.

if SC selling fake item then i'll definitely make it to the news rclxms.gif

i felt the difference mainly because i switched from semi to full, and i think full at 0w40 is a bit thick for a 1.5l engine...

if there's 0 or 5w30, then it will definitely be better smile.gif
*
if from toyota i dont think they have 0 or 5w30 other brand sure but also some brand offer 5w30 but feel respond like 5w40.

If you want 0w30 Amsoil i have some stock if you looking for racing oil i have too at 10w30.

this clone oil making is just for show to public but reality is how would you able to tell this is ori or clone? when i look both packaging from every point i check i cant tell the different between both.

in quality you cant comment much but wear & tear will kill your engine after some time if normal day in day out driver...

my friend seen the camshaft full wear off how could this be the owner Merc use Mobile 1 since first day he service his car same question ask how could this possible my friend ask how could you identify this owner just when blank...

Agree with you bro, that's why there's existence of "engine overhaul" after a few years usage.

Indeed too thick, bro... but it is good for those who whack highway all the way... like i used to do it in my myvi 1.5... thick can be good sometimes, but will sacrifice top speed a bit la... lol

Toyata SC quoted me the following price for my NCP42:
- water pump: almost RM600
- intake manifold: almost RM800

May I know if the prices are reasonable? Don't mind to pay a little higher price in the SC, but would like to make sure it's not too much compared to outside price.

Thanks

I just COD with a Guy from mudah.com for the rim. Rm50 with four pieces. 85% like new but it's okay I can live with it. Really appreciate him willing to sell to me , phew. Nice chap.

Toyota and other accessories shop quoted rm300 per piece!! Crazy!!!

I think waterpump abit too costly changing water pump solve 1 issue but ifthe mechanic not well experience it may cause leaking too...

How is ur intake manifold problem... normally this wont damage beaide front accident. ... you can try chop shop this is cheap
