For bad radio signal reception, just go Naza Auto Solution @ PJ. They will change the HU motherboard foc. I havent got my ample time yet to change mine, but from those who changed theirs, radio signal become much2 better.

Got mine for RM245 with shipping to Sarawak, its a groupbuy by our Forte group actually. To be honet, i can feel immediate response in torque, gear resopnse etc. After 2 months i can hardly feel anything, probably i get used to it already. But anyway, it can improve minimal performance, not so much fuel saving in my case.

After a long debate with my dad, I have finally lost due to insufficient data to prove that the Forte's resale value is not as bad as H/T.

Guys....just want to know since Forte come with 5 years warranty + unlimited Mileage...but its NOT stated in the user booklet...HOW TO KNOW/PROOF this ??

Alrite.. thanks for the info.. Btw, i heard/read somewhere that regarding the alignment lari, some sc wont repair the alignment but ask u to go repair at other w/shop instead.. they just dont have the equipment (alignment equipmt)..

Regarding the HU mobo change, do i need to call for an appointment 1st before going there? or just walk in and they can straight away change the hu w/out waiting? thanks in advance for ur answers..

u can do some calculation to show ur dad

Assume that u pay 10% down payment, interest rate 2.5%, 7 yrs loan and sell the car after 7 yrs
u pay total of RM158,577 for civic
u pay total of RM113,203 for forte

i duno wats the resale value of civic n forte after 7 yrs, i assume -50% and -70% for civic n forte respectively,
u sell ur civic at RM68,500 - end up u pay RM90,077 in 7 yrs
u sell ur forte at RM29,340 - end up u pay RM83,863 in 7 yrs


if really wanna compare forte vs city (which i wont compare at all due to diff seg), of coz u will enjoy lower fc and u pay less after 7 yrs if use the same calculation as above. But, to me, i would say the emotional value can cover all this and even can 'earn more'. For example, we eat a Rm10 spaghetti at hawker and RM40 spaghetti in a dining place, end up not only to fill up our stomach but also our feeling (the environment), taste etc

He said TWO YEARS for Electronic Parts + Accessories and FIVE YEARS for Engine + Gearbox + ECU + Blah blah....

Anyone of u encounter where the fabric seat sitting piece sponge...front n back is too soft where if u press hard enough can fell the metal piece or spring in it :'(
