Desa Kiara is a old condo at TTDI. Mont Kiara almost entire condos also name with Kiara or MK. Common but quite nice French name eh.

I oso hope something more creative than the word of Kiara but too bad, DBKL lacks of it. And developer used this name due to their company name also Kiara since long long time ago.

Looks like price has gone up quite substantially since last year launching.

Yes, Type A's price is like hell and increased so much but never need a marketing to sell it off. Any loan rejected unit / cancelled unit / released unit would easily taken with existing buyer themselves or friends. Type B catch up early this year and Type C the next, due to the fact they unable to buy at this price. Now, any unit of good Type C would be easily taken even with price increase recently.

Wanna know how much it's increased?
Upon preview, early last year, T3-05-02 with only 2T was sold at RM 587,300 before 7% discount. RM 428 psf net.
Now, T3-05-02 with 2T + 1 car park, now price at RM 697,800 before 7% discount. RM 509 psf net.

Bro, KR2 is built on lower land side, where about 2-3 storey lower from the land of the new LRT road / LRT station which is elevated in the middle of the road.

KR2 lowest 4 floors were car park levels from L4,L3,L2 & L1 before Grd Floor, which is higher ceiling due to main lobby entrance, car park and ground land for KR2 main guard house. After that, residence Level 1 begins and 2, 3, 4 and 5 .... until level 30 before Sky Garden ...

Based on current car park progression, which had built till L2, it was around the same tall with the LRT land / new main road, so L1's ground is more or less, same level with the LRT / new main road's ground.

Assume the new elevated LRT is 2 storey, the roof to roof should be equal directly ( more or less ) with Residence Level 1 or max, not higher than Level 2.

Thus, in my assumption, Level 1 and Level 2's balcony would be directly facing new LRT station and Level 3, 3A and 5 beginning to see the rooftop and so on ... Lvl 1 and 2, directly face to face or the view of The Treez should be partially block by elevated LRT. Level 5, can view LRT rooftop and Jalil Sutera, but I think definitely can overlook to view The Treez and The Link.

I hate kondominium name..soo yesterday..residence better..sounds more homey..anyway anything we can do as a buyer to avoid this old skool naming?

Haha, most of us also prefer Residence more than Condominium.

We had decided to use Residensi / Residence. You can join FB Group and read thru the process of new names to be submitted.
