Hi can anyone quote the price range for stage 1, stage 2, stage 2+ n stage 3 upgrades for golf gti?

but i heard some ppl saying China Delphi RCD510 can support MDI, just need some configuration

i'm guessing too its pricing would mirror rocco too since its same body type and engine config.

what is MDI?

1. APR = RM3,980.00
2. Revo = RM 3,200.00 (stage 1), RM3,500 for Stage 2
3. GIAC = RM3,800, RM500 for the flashloader
4. Dimsport
5. ABT = RM 7,000.00
6. Oettinger = RM 5,000.00 (TBC)

but for your mk6 gti many use chip/piggyback since will not void warranty

details of each stages

Stage 0.5 : Piggyback
Stage 1: ECU remap
Stage 1+ : ECU remap + hardware changes (CAI intake, catback exhaust, intercooler) - can change more hardware but if downpipe not changed, its not Stage 2 yet.
Stage 2: Stage 2 ECU remap + downpipe
Stage 2+: Usually HPFP change
Stage 3: Stage 3 ECU remap, turbo change, injectors change, fuel pump change, uprated internal parts (forged pistons and crankshaft?)

i think so. last time can buy ABT gti straight. will all the bodykits, rims remap etc.

U want golf 1.4 with 400hp? The gbox and engine will explode
U will say "only 28nm?" but trust its not the number. Its how accesible the torque is compared to before

For the crazy hp gain(stage 1 n 2 give crazy torque) u need stage 3.

But some cars are meant to be modded. Like the gti.

But too much torque in the gti u will have trouble spreading the power to the front wheels. Torque steer as well

yup and its easy to do.
though too much of it will skew it too much as a weekend drive.
even up to stage 3 its still a very usable daily drive and fc relatively frugal for the performance imho.
