Thats the price quoted from the dealer, most of the time, prices from the dealers are usually quite high.
Yeah it was the Scirocco diesel at the time. They have plenty of diesel variants for the Scirocco over there from the 3-cylinder diesel to the 2.0 TDI variant.

I've a problem, my tyre pressure gauge lit up (not blinking) but I've looked at the tyres, doesnt look like any of the tyres look flat or low pressure. Any advise on what I should do? The check tyre gauge is still lit up after I start the engine again after about an hour from engine off.
*
First, check the manual on how to reset the tyre pressure monitoring system (if any).

Just for comparison, my friend's car (non VW) tyre pressure warning comes out. Bring to petrol station to pump all 4x tyres. Found the rear-right is 160 kpa only, suspect it, but just refill first to 230 kpa, and check again tomorrow.
Tomorrow, check again, go down to 180 kpa. Confirm lah, send in tyre shop and found a nail on the inner side.

By looking at it, there is not much difference on the tyre height and sidewall.

My advise is, either do check and monitor yourself, or bring to tyre shop immediately, or VW SC.

Dear VW owners,

I am trying to buy a 2nd hand Passat CC of less than 1 year old (boss' friend is letting go) with 10K mileage. Need to get some advice

1. What should I take note of the car apart from whether it has involved in any form of accident?

2. How much "discount" should I ask for comparing with a new car given the above condition? If the guy bought it for 250K, should I nego for 20% or 30% off the original price for a 1 year old car?

3. If the owner smoke inside the car, is there anyway we could eliminate the smoking odour?

Thanks for some advice

chassis is most important. other factor also a need to consider. take a trust mechanic of yours to check it out.

-it depend market value as well

3. If the owner smoke inside the car, is there anyway we could eliminate the smoking odour?
- put A lot of charcoal for 1 week or so.

The car is very nice. My sister is law have one, but i feel the tyre is too low profile and thin VS 17" rim. If the tyre can be slightly wider or 45 profile would be perfect but might not fit haha.

nice write up... i think there is one more key diff between the polo and the polo sport which is the ESP button..
not sure does the previous polo has it but polo sport is equiped with ESP.. nod.gif

got to know from another forum, an owner upgrade his 15" lakeside to 17" boavista and FC sacrifies more than 10%.. although the polo sport might not be as frugal as before, but it looks sportier and handles better around corners..

Overall, the 5k upgrade is great.. i like the 2 din audio and arm rest..

cheers..

Hi Fellow VWers,

Newbie here and loving the VW discussion here thumbup.gif

Getting a Polo Sport soon, test drive twice at diff showrooms and love it so much! Both SA at the showrooms (222 & TTDI) were also kind and helpful.

Now I'm just undecided which color to take, Black (available now) or Red (coming Sept batch) rclxub.gif

Any suggestions from VWers here ? tongue.gif

Hi I have a few questions to ask regarding my golf gti.

1. How to change the display from mph to kmph? I know i've read about this somewhere but i couldn't find it.

2. I've been driving my golf gti for 3 months now n my mileage is almost 8000km. I know the 1st service is due at 15000km, but should i change my engine oil anyway before i go for a long drive back to my hometown (terengganu) for raya?

3. Since i read some people complaining about the battery, should i go n put on a battery stabilizer? Will it void the warranty? And what does it do actually, does it make much difference?

4. Mine is golf gti 2012 model so it comes with stock 18" detroit rims. If i want to change to new rims, where can i sell my current ones? And around how much can i sell them for?

Thanks in advance smile.gif

Haha.. you too? thumbup.gif

I've actually paid 1k booking fees to my SA for the Red polo, he assured me I can anytime change the color before the documents are ready. Not cool if I were to get polo from other showroom sweat.gif

I love my Deep Black polo. just fitted a rieger bodykit brows.gif

If I have to choose other colors I'd take Pepper Grey or Silver, they're lesser on the road (I think).
