Your 4.0.4 is not 4.0.4. It is GB not ICS. You may have made a mistake uploading.

Starting tomorrow... my XPS going back to the box. Will be migrating to Nexus for JB. Pretty sad when Sony troll their customers with crappy updates and lousy customer service.
actually i like Sony bcauz they update a lot, unlike HTC n Samgsung
but Nexus also very gooding in update, just tat it got no sony bravia engin
colour too vivid

Since I made the mistake of flashing back to GB from this FTF, I thought I might as well upgrade to official Malaysia ICS and make a real MY-6917 FTF. Now I dunno where to share back to xda. Rapidshare? Suggestions?
Then after I finished, I thought I might as well try that on-screen button mod from xda. I unlocked my bootloader though, but the result is good. No more silly dots. Lost some screen area but I don't mind. I like it better now.
Took only 3 steps from locked bootloader ICS.
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Fastboot flash this slightly modded stock kernel (mostly for the CWM recovery),
Kernel link3. Flashed the zipped package of the on-screen button mod,
Mod linkonscreen button is good, but bad in certain screen bcauz it causes image burn in,
especially amoled screen, but sony uses LCD so it will be more durable
pm those ppl in xda, 2 share ur ICS ftf
i don't really like unlocked bootloader, bcauz i heard seus will not provide official update if bootloader is unlocked
but dono true or not lar, if not true sure i unlock 1
i like sony bravia engin a lot, other mod ICS got no sony bravia engin bcauz it is sony's proprietary
so i didn't take risk, but u still can relock it again
but i get root access tru other more dangerous method, without unlocking bootloader

Haha.
To add on.
I dont see my Xperia S camera performs well in low light condition as well.
Taking pictures at night, lots of noises are been captured as well.
ermmm if compare 2 iphone 4s, it perform better in low light,
but kinda not fair also 2 compare them, bcauz iphone 4s is using Sony 8mp BSM sensor just like samsung galaxy 3
xperia S is using sony mobile exmor r sensor which is more advance sensor
but one of the things i dislike is lens flare,
xperia S pickup lens flare just like many of those Sony G lens for sony camera
may be it is down 2 me lar

bcauz some ppl like those
