MX player, free.. can play all files that I wan, WITH subtitles.. dun need any paid apps when u have an app as good as MX Player

without any casing, I feel the grip is not good..much much better with my Nillkin matte hard casing..can rilli feel the difference

poslaju is ok..so far no problems with delivery either Rock or Nillkin casings are good..advantage of Nillkin is there is a cut-out for the transparent bar

since malaysia ori sets do not come bundled with fast charger, i've been using my N97 mini charger to provide juice for my XPS....definitely faster than the bundled Sony charger

hmm...where did i put my ori slow charger now?

just sent my white XPS to Ericserve Amcorp on Monday evening for warranty claim on yellow tint....coz i already reported the problem to them 3 weeks ago, but they say no stock then.....on Monday, they call me up to say got stock liao....

sent to Amcorp Mall, and they told me will send to KL for repairs....WTF?! i tot they repair it there on the spot? i ask them where they sent to, they said KL....i asked is it Berjaya? the guy seems like not very sure.... i hope it's not Ixsun lah....

initially they told me just a couple of days only for repair...now they send to KL, not sure how long it will take....

Ericserve Amcorp Mall just called me..they say service centre found that my XPS keep restarting, motherboard rosak..WTF?! when I sent in, everything was fine, only got yellow tint issues! but they say will change for free..still under warranty..

they confirm it's sent to Berjaya but good news is that I can pick it up later today at Amcorp Mall at 6-7pm..means only 2 days for repair

will report again if got new findings..

well, I got back my XPS liao excellent service by Ericserve Amcorp Mall! went in on Monday evening, got it back today evening..2 days only although to wait for LCD stock takes 3 weeks..to be fair to them, they immediately called me once got stock..

i think they changed a new set for me..coz Even IMEI number is different liao! they state at the repair sheet that they change the motherboard and LCD for me..but I dun mind if it's a new set la..it comes wrapped with stickers all over the body..phone looks absolutely new, with ICS preloaded..

but my original black XPS is still on GB..still love GB more

I actually dunno whether it's new unit or not..but its different IMEI number..

I dunno ah..never used ICS upgraded before..shud be the same, as firmware number the same..

Haha! no worries dude....since they change the motherboard and LCD already, it's as good as a new unit....and for ICS, when u send in for repairs, they will flash to ICS anyway....so, whether new unit or not, as long as it is defect-free, and everything is working as it should, then it's considered good service by Ericserve...

yup, everything's fine, and virtually it's a new phone per se....since the casing also new as it comes together in a set with the LCD....

for me, the size of XPS is perfect..and the feature I love most is the fast capture of the camera..until I go challenge my fren's with i4s for 'shootout'..haha!

another reason is the exclusivity..not many ppl use, unlike iPhones and Samsungs..I agree that in terms of raw power, XPS is not as advance as other flagships, but hey, I dun think I've harnessed the full capabilities if XPS yet

once, a fren saw my XPS on the table, she look at me and say, "Sony? why buy phones from Sony? reliable meh?".. that shows how ignorant ppl are..they think phones only got iPhones and Samsungs..needless to say, she using iPhone.. showed her what she missing after that

yellow screen issues is well-known for XPS 1st batch..if ori set, just sent for warranty claim..the difference is where to send..I posted my experience few pages back..summary as follow..

send to Ericserve Amcorp Mall, tell them u want to claim for yellow screen..let them check stock, if no stock, they will call u back when available..u can take back ur phone and use while waiting for stock..

once they call u say got stock, send it back to Amcorp..I got back my unit in 2 working days..comes with ICS installed too

I'm still on GB, no complaints so far..just one question to those on latest firmware..can we customize the right-slide-to-left in lock screen to activate silent mode, like in GB? as far as I know, on the 1st ICS update, this function was changed to camera mode..

Amcorp Mall is just opposite Taman Jaya LRT station..u need to call them to check got stock for the LCD or not..tell them what colour is ur set. if got stock, repair only takes 2 days (my case). if no stock, u have to wait while they place order. u dun hav to leave ur phone with them if no stock. they will call u to send the phone to them when stock is available.

oh...but based on records we gathered from forummers, Amcorp Mall's service centre provide the best service....BTS got many horror stories, such as after repair, other problems surface....if Amcorp Mall is not too inconvenient for u, i suggest u try at Amcorp....
