Called to cancel my GSC HL card and checking about my HL Mach status as the Mach card expired Jan 2021.

Officer told me that bank will replace a new credit card to me but that will be Wise card, not Mach card, any instalment plan will be carry forward to new card

Oh no... that’s a real shame! But I guess it’s expected since the card was issued under the Mach brand and the brand is no longer around.

in that case, i will have to call to cancel it before it expires next Jun 2021. dont want the hassle of getting a new card and having to cancel it later.

yes u are right, this move is due to HLB is gradually shifting the mach customer to HLB as they as slowly closing the mach

Ouch, need to cancel my GSC HLB Card too. saw that RM25 SC inkambing.

On the new card acquisition campaign with up to rm700 cashback, do u guys think reloading ewallet is considered retail spending and eligble for cashback?

darn it, why they can't honor the previous announcement, till the cc expiry date?

I guess because not everyone is having same expiry date, so they will need to set a cut off date. I'm sad too because mine is in 2022..

One of my fav card since 2013.
Gonna miss this card so so much since I dine out a lot. I don't think I can find any card that can replace straight forward 5% rebate without any minimum spend and other criterias.

Same here. My pure dining card since early 2015, I dine out a lot too but this MCO made me without spending for few months.

Do we need to call to cancel the new replacement card or do we just not activate the card?

Anyone know if they will replace supplementary card automatically too? Or need to apply again when receive the replacement principal?
