no point if i apply get total rm60 startbuck card but need pay rm50 GST

no worth it

Applied this card on Friday's evening around 8pm at Pavilion. The guy was telling me to expect the approval within 15 minutes but who knows he called me around 10 minutes after that saying HLB needs to check further on my application as I'm holding more than 3 cards. He will only know the status on Monday.

I wasn't really happy because my annual income has far exceeded 36k which allows me to hold as many cards as I like. Well, I then told him I'm no longer interested and asked to cancel my application. I shouldn't be treated as if I'm begging for this card. He tried to persuade me and even when I told him I won't be going back to Pavilion purposely for this card collection, he said will get it sent to my office.

Let's see.

Somehow this card has become my favourite card especially I dined quite a lot last month. Free additional RM 200 from HLB without me noticing.

...and after receiving your statement only you realise that the dining places you went were not under the mcc codes for cb. what will you do? lol...

How to know the status the application? Like for Citibank can call the Citiphone number and then type IC number it will automatically tell the status, anything similar for this Mach card?

i recently got robbed and my mach credit card was stolen. i requested for a new card and noticed i was charged a rm50 replacement. do you guys think the fee can be waived? i have a police report to prove that it was stolen and not lost. dont understand why hlb doesnt waive the fees for stolen cards when other banks do it?!

Yea. Received another 40 from mach. So generous , keep sending free voucher. I keep buying polo tee with rm5 delivery fees. Means rm5 for 1 polo tee. Not bad. Thx hl mach

I received a call from 011-10823623. It was a Malay speaking lady calling about my Hong Leong Bank card. She said that she was from VISA/Mastercard Rewards and that they were calling all VISA/Mastercard holders in Malaysia regarding a rewards points card, claiming that this card was supposed to be sent along with my VISA card from HLB.

She asked to confirm the standard details like name and IC, which she already had on hand. She then asked for verification on my credit card, which I began to feel suspicious. I intentionally gave her the incorrect expiry date on my card, to which she replied with "are you sure it's not [correct date]?"

I did not complete the verification process, saying that I did not have the card with me. She said she would call me back tomorrow. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I don't remember ever reading/seeing this card, and Googling doesn't seem to return any results. Thanks for any help.

btw, do you get SMS notification if scan using Visa Wave?

Discontinuation of Mach Signature Credit Card

We regret to inform you that the Mach Signature Credit Card will be discontinued and all Mach Signature will no longer be usable upon card expiry.

We will notify our customers that are currently holding Mach Signature Credit Card on the next steps  via email.

You quoted wrong post. That's MACH Signature.
Regardless, this MACH card will be discontinued too and replaced with Wise. Refer to above post.
