QUOTE(ckkean @ May 14 2007, 12:43 PM) I'm also damn regret buying Wira (no choice, not enough money) First 3 years, the car is OK, not giving much problem to me, then nowadays all the problem come, absorber kong, door lock spoilt, power window stuck, bonet getting loose, dashboard vibrates like hell, engine oil leaked and fuel consumption damn high....Some more I don't drive long distance, take good care and send for regular car service in Proton service centre (every 5k KM)....My 4 year-old car now only reach about 47k KM and I think I have spent lots of money in maintenance If our country doesn't make home-made local car, I'll be driving at least Vios now I've experienced the exact same problems u did eventhough I took care of my engine so well. Somehow, problems still arise with it. Looks like we both got conned by proton huh.... ... Do what I did, save up as much as possible, don't even bother about improving your wira (regular service still needed of course), then trade-in for a vios or a city. I can easily hit 620kms with RM70 of petrol with vios long distance driving. Town driving also I can still hit 450kms and above. And best of all, no problems with the car (touch-wood).

QUOTE(Xefron @ May 14 2007, 11:47 AM) is Wira and Satria abs share the same size ?can fit vice versa ? if i not mistaken, wira and satria 1.3/1.5 they share the same spec of absorber. for wira and putra 1.6/1.8 same spec also if u wanna put 1.6 spec absorber into a 1.3/1.5, it is possible but u need to mode the place to put the absorbers

sometimes it's not that wira is bad.. it's jz proton's QC SUCKS! some of their cars are okay... like my house got 3 wiras.. say what u like but it's cheap n it serves its purpose.. currently 2 are okay... i mean other than those power windows n all... engine wise 4 d 1st wira(1.5M) which is around 15 years now, all's good, powerful n can go around 450+ wif RM70.. then there's the 1.5A that's weak in mileage around 300++ at RM70... both are also mostly for towndriving n during the time when i use was in seri kembangan area.. kinda jam.. the other 1 i not sure but that's the new 1 with fuel injection.. the other 2 are carb engine.. maybe gonna get another 1 soon 4 me~ haha.. so what's d mileage 4 wira 1.5M fuel injection engine.. i heard it's kinda underpower but how's the fc? it's either wira or iswara.. if wira's maintainance n fc is not muc diff from iswara then gonna get wira.. otherwise iswara.. mind 2 comment?

whichever you feel is better. To me, there isn't much difference between Wira and Iswara besides the shape and interior. Generally QC is the same so.... I prefer Iswara's exhaust noise though I feel like removing the Wira badge behind the car. Does anyone know if the badge is just a sticker or is it "molded" onto the car?

But once I replaced my exhuast system + piping , the problem solved. As I know, the stock exhaust is bigger below, hence, when you go through those bumpers,it will hit it. I replaced it with stainless steel piping + straight flow muffler which is more compact. The mechanic installed it high up to the available spaces. Therefore won't hit the bumpers again
