I'm driving a Wira 1.3GLi, mmm kinda happy wif it especially the FC and oso the cabin space

Yup, the cabin space of the wira is rather sastifying ! As for FC, mine so so only. Power wise, i feel that 1.3 lack of Oomph ! What do you guys think ?

Wira is indeed more spacious compared to Vios/City or even Altis.
But the rear suspension needs attention. Cos with 3 adults at the back, it's already sinking.

First thing I changed when my wife got her Wira A/B was the rear absorbers. Put Monroe Sensatrac in and it didn't bottom out when going over speed humps with 3 adults at the back.

use higher & stiffer spring
but when u driving alone
u will feel bumpy

Driving wira A/B here..
everything ok...just finished insulating the door panels and boot area with insulflex..less sound in the cabin but now i know how loud the engine n tyres are..need one whole day just to finish those area..

what i dont like about wira (or proton cars) is the small/light sounds created..for wira aeroback..the sound coming from the boot area...like plastic sound moving..yet to find the exact source..will do later..

about the rear suspension..mine does sink quite alot when carrying 2/3 ppls behind..also when the boot pack with stuffs..still using stock suspensions..might as well change to Sensatrac later..front Sensatracs is damn good la..feel safe to tackle corners..

got a few question..
1-how much is 1.6 ARB at kedai potong?
2-can 1.5 use 1.6 throttle body? n how much eh?

driving 1.3gli here.wanna ask.when i take corner at 80kmh,i can hear a sound came out from back.i think its left rear tyre.izzit bcoz of absorber or my tyre is already lose their grip.

how much 4 mod wira?basic>advance?

anyways.. 1.3gli owner here..100% pure factory stock..imho..the suspensions are jsut too soft for cornering..

what kind of corner?80kmh..sounds like a big u-turn kinda of corner..isit?or 90 degree corner?o_O
i've never experience any sound tho..but my body roll is a lil too much..

I sometime take a downhill corner at 100km/h.
Four pcs of good traction tyre is essential.

I changed it to APM gas shocks. Better now.

stock/ori wira 1.3 a/b year 02 owner here, guys whut ya top speed ? mine .. habis tekan yet my top speed is stuck at 140~145km/h

erm..a bit uphill n tight.no 90 degree but like small u.if u go to cyberjaya there is one corner after bomba.

mine's a 2001 model..managed to do 165+ but below 170kmh tailgaiting my friend on the way to sepang.. =P

bomba..not so familiar with the area..but man..that is fast..

ex wira 1.6xli, tops only @ 170, sold for only rm16k for a G2

I drive stock Wira 1.3Gli 2002, everything almost stock, only change the tyre to ducaro Ga. About the top speed, I had reach around 160 at PLUS higway, straight lane from Kuala Kangsar to Taiping. But not for long coz at that time driving at night feel boring. Suddenly came one Wira 1.5 with 4 adult speeding past me, so join him to encounter my boring. I manage to 160. Feel scary, everyting shaking...after 2-3 min I slow down and let the wira past me. He drove around 140-150.
Thank goodness nothing happened.
I don't think i will reach that speed again. Better be late than never.
