I am using an old (>10 years) Wira 1.6XLI here, black in colour
FC is okay (full tank can reach 550km/h, normal drive 80-100km/h)and fully stock, top speed was 180km/h on KESAS highway

Max power will be at 6000rpm, so if I drag I will push my 1st 2 gears till 6.5K rpm and then let the overdrive do the rest of the job (3rd gear)

Recently after change black oil, FC was terrible, cannot go as high as b4 liao, dunno wat happen, it is my mum's car anyway tongue.gif Issit due to the black oil? I don't know wether that guy use 15W or less, all I see is the Castrol GTX brand on it only tongue.gif
What is the best 1 to take for black oil for longer mileage? 10W/12W?

Wow, you ICE your machine, me no money for ICE....sad huh
Now I focus on mod for performance and FC

Tmr gonna install Iridium sparkplugs, Hotbits Extractor and K&N drop-in air filter to my car. Hope it won't dissapoint me.

Later will add Zenden front strut bar, front lower arm bar and rear, voltage stabilizer, fuel saver, Kayaba RS/GAB abs then go for 15"/16" rims

Modded to 4-1, end up for top speed only = high revs = useless because engine only 1.5
Better go for 4-2-1, better low end torque plus doens't lose much at top speed

Yeah, I still think that the stock 16" rims is okay ler...unless it is reeally heavy

When the light starts to show, normally can run 100++km in 80-100km/h
Still ok smile.gif

tr4657: BOT a lot of problems right? Better get a turbo engine straight way better. Me I prefer MIVEC wink.gif GSR maintenence too high for me, if I can afford it, it will be cool also XD

My 1.5l Wira with manual transmission can only reach 350-380km from full tank to almost empty before the "Petrol sign" even start flashing.

Pretty bad fuel efficiency, huh ?
*
Yours is city driving more or highway? If highway the FC should be better
Espionage : You can't say it like that, not all cars are the same as well as the driver

Mine ar, 9am LDP and 6pm LDP lo. Traffic jam to and fro until no strength to scratch my balls.

I am starting to take PLUS highway everyday to university liao. No more jam.

I think i can reach 400+km if use PLUS everyday. Pay for Touch n' Go in order to improve FC. sweat.gif

Starting no need to accelerate that much ler, for me I drive I'll slowly pick up the speed unless a lot of ppl at the back then only accelerate more

Reach till 70km/h, I'll let go around 5% of the throttle and wait for the 4th gear to come, then can save a lotta fuel adi smile.gif Normally in highway just 10% throttle only, thats how I save a lot through this technique of mine, sometimes I tap tap the throttle in order to let go some power so that the ECU will change to 4th gear on the highway (3rd gear rpm higher so more fuel eaten). I used this only in highway, city driving cannot lor, people will horn tongue.gif

check zerotohundred.com and scout
Last I scouted was GSR 1.8 turbo for manual is RM5800, 4G92 MIVEC is RM5500 and RM4000 only for GSR 1.8 auto

Now I dunno ler....maybe price hike up already
Where to get it install....go to a mech and ask smile.gif
I think if they kao tim for you everything including JPJ approve should be near to RM10K + other mods like brakes and suspensions, bla bla

At least ready RM10K for safety first smile.gif Or you can get the 4G93NA like the GTI, cost way much less
