Hi guys, new Wira user here. Used for less than a month...power sucks. Currently a 1.3 Manual. Need some budget upgrade recommendation.

guys, anyone using a Wira 1.6 Auto can reach 400km per tank?
I'm averaging 400 per tank with a 1.3 Manual...but my cousin says his 1996 Honda Civic 1.6 Auto is averaging 400 also And his tank is just 60 bucks, mine's about 65-70 This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 12 2006, 12:06 PM |

QUOTE(m|ng @ Sep 12 2006, 09:37 PM) Mine..rm70..MAX is 380km. THATS IT. Maybe can stretch till 400 lar.. but needle is really E d 380 is quite normal actually, I tried driving another 20km while the needle was on "E" before 1.5GL Auto...terrible. Changed rims ro 14". That robbed me of about 20km. why do you say the 14" rims robbed you of 20km? QUOTE(kazami @ Sep 12 2006, 09:52 PM) after changing engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug, cleaning TB and tuning.... Rm65 for 170Km... did forget to tell us about your turbo?QUOTE(Latino Heat @ Sep 13 2006, 04:24 PM) Highway driving is not so petrol consuming as moderate speed all the way while city driving otherways ! My wira 1.3(M) with 195/60 15" rims can only do approx 250km with RM75 (city driving) wow...pretty much the same as kazami...what you guys do with your cars? Tokyo Drift? I'm using 195/55/R15 tyres...with RM65 I can reach 400 minimum This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 14 2006, 09:25 AM |

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Sep 12 2006, 05:22 PM) I can do 550km on RM70/36litres of petrol. And averages at 15km/litre with mixed highway and city driving. Not surprising at all QUOTE(shinjite @ Sep 12 2006, 08:55 PM) I am not surprised either are you guys using some kinda super fuel saver? Coz this is really tough to believe Last time my full tank I can reach 600km++ if not for my mum use >.>" So after she use, I still managed to clock 550km before the next refill |

dude, RM60 for 170km is just nonsense. Unless you were driving with gear 1 all the way home
get it fixed...RM60 is at least...in a standard car, not turbo...at least 300++km no matter how you drive. go buy a new car...if you're spending RM60 per 170km, its worth getting a new car does anyone know what shop can repair dashboards? My dashboard lights are out... |

I just noticed a small (I hope) problem with my Wira. I changed the black oil just over a month ago and now its already...black again. This never happened in my 20 year old Ford before. What should I do?

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Nov 1 2006, 06:04 PM) Can i ask, how long do u guys take to warm up ur engine when its cold? For me, i will at least warm it up for 1 minutes, then begin driving slowly (like 70km/h) with no high revving for the first 15 minutes. 15 min...I reach home ady lo warming up the engine will be beneficial in the long term. Your engine will last longer - less problems, which also increases its 2nd hand value...whatever's left of it I have a question...I saw some cars with air vents on the side of the car...just above the tyres. Does anyone know how they do that? |
