Semi-synthetic eh....how much is the mileage already? if your engine feels heavy, might be the carbon and sludge build up within the engine internals. Have u decarbon ur ride?

QUOTE(kazami13 @ May 5 2007, 01:45 AM) i plan to decarbonize my car... will it really makes my car/engine lighter? It will but you won't feel significant difference. Its best if you overhaul your engine. But its best you try and go decarbon your ride. Best to minimise the carbon in your engine. QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 5 2007, 01:45 AM) Not yet. Any other symptoms did you notice when ur car is on idle or running? This post has been edited by shinjite: May 5 2007, 01:49 AM

QUOTE(shinjite @ May 5 2007, 01:34 AM) Hmmm....about which year is best to look at, try sourcing for MMC ECU cars dated <2001 In terms of FC, depends on several factors like how good is the engine (serviced regularly, no sludge built-up and minimise carbon), driving style (heavy/light footed), driving conditions (mostly city/highway), tyres (properly inflated?). Your transmission plays a role too apart from torque) FC is okay since I have a couple of friends driving 1.3 Wiras and Satrias but it still all comes down mainly to your driving style. A lighter foot will yield wonders. About maintenance, it is okay because the parts all can be sourced and easy to find. No worries on this. As usual, that's proton. So any recommendation where to source for 2ndhand cars?

does anyone here have a fuel preference? I've always been using Shell until now. But after changing my car, it doesn't feel like its giving me enough power. Then I tried Petronas coz that day there wasn't any Shell station around...and now I'm really feeling the power like Latino Heat say - tekan saja kereta pecut.
