Wira 1.3 gli owner here , i feel the car is powerful at 40-80km @ 2nd gear , 80km-90km @ 3rd gear , 15inch rims,skirtings,k&n air filter, gara steering , full gti console box with with gti gear knob, semi-leather seats covers, ICE . crystal headlamps and blackline crystal signal lamps, HID

Plan to change car after a year when this car loan is totally settled

car fuel comsumption now is around 60-65km for every 10 dollar petrol

but b4 that i'm not finish yet with modding this car.

Soon to do:
-silver/black tinting
-change exhaust piping.

anyone know what engine can be transplant into thsi 1.3 wira that is approve by jpj

anyone know where is the best place to get this half cuts, and where to install it, and please tell me the estimated price also

if i'm able to change a nice engine, i might drive this car for another few more years

Last I scouted was GSR 1.8 turbo for manual is RM5800, 4G92 MIVEC is RM5500 and RM4000 only for GSR 1.8 auto

Now I dunno ler....maybe price hike up already

I think if they kao tim for you everything including JPJ approve should be near to RM10K + other mods like brakes and suspensions, bla bla

At least ready RM10K for safety first Or you can get the 4G93NA like the GTI, cost way much less

if spend around 10k to trasnplant engine i rather go buy another 2nd hand gti or brand new gen 2 liao .

i did alot of research and found out that wira can transplant 4g91 dohc 1500cc engine, mivec 4g92 or mivec 4g93, gsr 1.8 need pay undertable money and not 100 percent comfirm approve. .

i might just end up transplanting 4g91 1.5 dohc 110hp manual .
its power output should be equivelant to those 1.6 wira sohc .

will be buying the half cut to install the dash board with digital aircond

my dad bought me an auto pronton wira a/b year 2000 , fuel injection, the first owner take care well the car and the car like new, mileage 60k, that why my dad bought it

but i found that

FC for high way RM30 go for 200km @ RM1.925/litter
FC for city + high way full tank RM70 for 366km only

high way 0.15/km
city + high way 0.19/km

i think the car is high FC if compare with other same wira, my fren told me his wira RM50 can go for 300-350km, but my car, i think the most only 261km ...... it quite a big gap......

so.. wat can i do for save more fuel..... plz give a hand...

Yup Wira also can fit with 4G91 engine, the power is better than 4G15
wIRA 1.6 sohc, SAY 112bhp...on wheel also dunno how much....

It is true but depends on the driver~~
Some auto can even beat manual in terms of mileage per litre

it all depends on how heavy is your foot!

anyways..mine's a 1.3..meter kaput..so..around 60bux++ can go around 350km..

*touch wood* my meter haven't kaput yet, so far in terms of kaput is the stupid alarm key....button always kaput

Mine 1.3 don't have any 'kaput' system yet. Everythings fine and just change 4 tires to XM1 for fronts and and Achiless for rears and drive steadily under heavy raining. I like the roominess of the car, hate wallowness of the car when taking corner. Thinking of getting new suspension to replace the soft suspension.

are u sure ? mine proton wira 1.3 manual with RM50 can onli go up to 250-280 max liao wor ... hmm sumore i pump RM50 not even reach the 4bar of the tank onli half plus abit onli

yes i'm very sure, my 1.3 wira a/b can go 330-350 wif RM 50. I rev it hard once a while only.

RM50 if around 200++km is kinda low actually
At least hit 300km is okay

i never pump full tank one, alwayz pump rm35 =D. rm35 i can go 210, plus or minus alwayz around there =DD
