QUOTE(Thrust @ Jan 22 2006, 09:59 AM) I can manage to go 175kmh on my wira 1.5 manual (aircon-off) tested my fren car 1.5m year 01, stock, no fancy bling bling open pod filter, no sport rim, air-con off, shell super, top speed of 170km/h at PLUS highway It can still rev higher but I did do so as at 175 it's revving at 5.5K RPM. In order for you to achieve high speed, I got an open pod air filter (K&N) to fed in more air into the combustion chamber. Besides that, i used Shell V-Power at that time because this fuel can burn more efficiently compared to the ordinary fuel at high rev. Coupled with good springs and absorbers from Koni & Apex (lowered 50mm), the car is rock stable at high speed. my 1.3 really slow |

QUOTE(yihhan83 @ Jan 22 2006, 04:37 PM) your FC is correct kah? y my 1.5 auto consume petrol like drinking water. RM 10 can travel 50+ km only try to pump your tank full next time, you wont be able to gauge your FC or mileage when you pump 10-20 buck worth of petrol..mine .. RM50(1.61/liter) = 500KM~544km 1.3(M) |

stuff i had change in the past 4 month, -new set of plugs. -new oem air filter basically my car is stock.. no modification done and it's service regularly. so anyidea about the problem ? i wanna get it fixed as i'm doing a lot of outstation travelling. thanks. |

QUOTE(kyheng @ Jul 6 2006, 01:16 PM) Looks like is the intake valve after air filter blocked. Disconnect the air filter set(rubber parts) then open the valve manually and clean it using clean cloth. It should solve your problem. Anyway when you change your petrol filter, is it black or not? ok i'll try to have a look, the valve ?you mean throttle body izzt ? how much is the petrol filter including workmanship ? if i'm not mistaken .. i havent change that before.QUOTE(kazami @ Jul 6 2006, 04:44 PM) usually change engine oil, oil filter when i sent it for service. I'm using cheapskate mineral oil, (castrol sw 15-40) + Top engine oil treatment and proton oil filter. i service my car every 5.5k ~ 6k.. ermm that should be around 2~3 month once. |
