tak tak tak sound getting more frequent when u travel more fast.. tht means driveshaft oreli.. cant go wrong.. smile.gif smile.gif

guys.. i juz cleaned my throttle body.. the rpm is around 500rpm when gear engage to D and wit air-cond kicks.. but when engage gear to R.. it shakes abit.. at 500rpm oso.. wats ur rpm wat u cleaned ur throttle body.. pls share.. thx.. smile.gif smile.gif

uhm... just wanna ask..
im driving the first generation wira.. (yea.. its bout 8 years d...)
and i wanna ask whether is it alrite if i down shift to the second gear everytime i wan to slow down, as if to drag the car to a lower speed.. is it alrite? will the gearbox rosak?

dont ever do that
what you are doing will only increase damage to your gearbox
even 4g15 gearbox is a realiable one but with the way to slow down the car just harming the gearbox alone.
auto is there for reason do not drive with the manual way else you need to pay for the consequence later tongue.gif

Oxigen, i just change mine.
water pump(japan) + timing belt proton original + labour = RM 270
change in serdang near jusco.

other prices i ask from other shop is:
1.water pump=RM80/95
2.timing belt original=rm240 mitsubishi=RM280
all include labour

how u know the water pump is from Japan?
and u bought the water pump in sparepart shop then fix at workshop or u straight away buy from the workshop?
i just change my water pump last month and it cost me RM170 include labour and the waterpump

Unless you want to change to manual faster or you want your auto to KO faster loh smile.gif
Even 4G15 GB will KO too, my friend's 1 KOed not too long ago XD

so be careful loh, GBs is one of the most expensive part to change if KOed
cost nearly RM1.5K to 2K including installation for a new 1

well, if u can add another rm220 for an ori mitsubishi timing belt set, i can do it for you. the labour cost for the timing belt and water pump change is rm80, waterpump at rm100

Which speedo are you having?
White text on black background? Green Text on white back ground?

A new one from the spare parts shop should cost you less than RM150 (if I still remember right). You might want to get your speedometer cable checked first, that one might be spoiled instead. The cable to cost you less than RM50 to replace.
