Actually they did offer installation, I'm just asking for second opinion. They quote RM230 for installation (meter wiring, digital aircond, dashboard). Is that reasonable?

By the way, I've been wondering what is this:

The pipe that connects between the exhaust part and the air intake part. I'm always confused about what is this. I asked a few servicemen and they say "it's nothing". Can anyone help me explain what is that part?

Edit : oh, that's a 1.3M carb wira engine that is due to be cleaned. I'm always postponing the cleaning x.x

its actually useless in our country
the hose supply the hotter air from the extractor to the engine during the cold weather (overseas winter)
something to help in continuos driving in cold weather.......
btw i seal the hole from the air filter snorkel as malaysian weather is enough hot tongue.gif

uhm... just wanna ask..
im driving the first generation wira.. (yea.. its bout 8 years d...)
and i wanna ask whether is it alrite if i down shift to the second gear everytime i wan to slow down, as if to drag the car to a lower speed.. is it alrite? will the gearbox rosak?

thanks  smile.gif

edited: my wira is a 1.5 auto btw.. hehe

dont ever do that
what you are doing will only increase damage to your gearbox
even 4g15 gearbox is a realiable one but with the way to slow down the car just harming the gearbox alone.
auto is there for reason do not drive with the manual way else you need to pay for the consequence later tongue.gif
