Suddenly my Thompson router suffers the wifi channel issue. doh.gif shakehead.gif

Changed the channel setting to manual and choose a different channel solved the issue... for now. I wonder why the sudden interruption... hmm.gif

I can see lots of users complaining about browsing issue, the browser always show sending request etc... Same problem faced here, and usually I will login to Thomson and disconnect then reconnect the eInternet. But strangely when I faced this browsing issue on my windows PC, I don't face the issue browsing on iPhone or iPad, so right now instead of disconnecting and reconnect, I restart the PC, and it is back to normal. By the way, has the quota implemented? I don't see the usage from nylaunchpad, empty... Already used around 600GB in a week...

@feizaiII currently there is no thomson replacement router with phone port in the market

@edwinlcw most of our maxis home fibre installation comes with a min of 3 person, 1 from maxis 2 from TM.

If you are on Public IP address, the quota is not viewable...

Why i see many member facing more than a day for maxis fibre to setup.
Is it possible for them to use only a day? Not many people afford to take more than a day leave wei...

My Maxis fibre installation on 30th August. I'm thinking to ask them to cancel it if taking another weekdays to fix it... if they insist only can come on weekdays. smile.gif

I think it depends on the infrastructure of your area. If the buildings are new, usually the developers had allocated some tubes or holes for these kinda installations. The TM people will go over your place for inspection first before start installing.

So meaning public ip will never be able to see usage in mylaunchpad? Has Maxis started the quota to 100GB?
