I hope you signed up yesterday as today gotta topup extra RM10 (no more early birdie) tongue.gif

Me too, signed up for Malakoff 12KM. Read from 2011 blog review, there will be 2 killing hills, do train for that.

p/s: did you notice that running tee XS size for ladies is finished, grrr.

What happened to your NikeRun? You cannot make it last minute?
*
Yeah. Signed up under early bird. biggrin.gif Ah hills, my only problem is I only can train in gym. Maybe set incline high high. Went cycling at Bukit Cahaya last Sunday, lucky still can cycle uphill woohoo.

Oh I registered last week, still got. Took S. smile.gif

Yah, had to draw till 4.45pm, by that time I knew I was too late. T_T

You may want to try also to pull your elbow higher moving uphill to help in gaining uphill momentum a bit. Got this tip from somewhere from the net by a pro-triathlete. Do let us know whether it works for you =).

And hi everyone, 2nd year runner here specializing in 21K distance training around Wangsa Maju area.
*
Gonna try these techniques! biggrin.gif

My Gun Time and Net Time in the Nike Run are the same despite there was a 8-min offset. Was wondering what could probably be the problem?

that's normal as your muscles may not adapt to the mileage. Make sure you do proper recovery after every run i.e. stretches/self-massage etc. then those muscle tightness will hardly occur anymore unless you introduce a new speed or run over your limits during a race later on

I've just use Counterpain yesterday night. blush.gif
I bet it occurs due to the slopes. I didn't train for slopes, really didn't expect to have so many slopes. doh.gif
I will do more warm up next time! flex.gif

i'm ok with uphill, but not downhill.
Everytime I think of hopping downhill makes me fears my hamstring will snaps. LOL

Btw, the elbow thingy when you run uphill, it's really useful. Tried it myself (don't know where i learn it) my elbow just naturally lift higher when run uphill.
