It is just too complicated for the ordinary people to understand all the patent stuff.

Luckily the jury are normal people who look at how things actually work instead of letting technical thing confuse them just as how technical fault has let so many criminal free.

In the end it is pinch to zoom or double tab to zoom is still what it is and trying to write a different software to mimic it is still copying.

Pinch to zoom technology exists before iPhone and it was not invented by Apple. Hence the issue of copying should not arise.

u wan compare ip5 with s3? samsung's unleashing the note2 just fight off ip5 lol. and u said "as a phone" what s your definition of a phone? one that can call and sms? note sucks? i admit the os and ui is abit no no. but please. its a start for something different. and then the argue can go on and on

note is nothing really different except for the big screen and stylus.

the stylus again, is nothing new bcos it was very popular during the palm and windows mobile days.

it did not really catch on bcos ppl was not keen on using the stylus (very troublesome) but preferred using their own fingers instead. in fact, this has not changed. if u noticed, not many ppl uses the stylus.


then the question rises, why is note so popular? very simple.
it's the big screen and the thin-ness.

not a fan of note though,screen a bit too big to be treated as phone...

U will use stylus for note taking, drawing or highlighting. But I don't know how effective is that on a note.

a sempai of which have both iphone 4s and galaxy note love the stylus on note 1, should be the same with her incoming note 2

But I heard lots of ppl complaining on twitter on the stylus cos it easily drop it. A lot say I want to buy a brand new note but all I need is the pen... I wonder does it come with extra stylus...

It's not really ip5 or Galaxy S3....it's really more of whether you want IOS or Android.

Nowadays, software rules over hardware.

I heard the note 2 if u leave the stylus and walk away the phone actually prompt u... I don't know the technical details of that feature but hope is intelligent enough, and that it eworks

i go for Apps. since Apple apps much more and better then Android, so I choose APPLE

Usually ppl will just leave the stylus inside the slot most of the time.
But good gimmick to promote 'new' features.
