price drop happen to both platform, RRP will remain, but shop selling price is different.

to be fair, android has many manufacturer while ios have only one, so imo its normal the price drop is slower. If ios has many many manufacturer they will be the same.

dun forget that android have manufacturer from sony, motorola, and etc company.

as for samsung seems that they have a lot of model, but afaik their resale value is higher compare to other android phone (depend on model).

perhaps the seller (from the shop I go) sell the hp from the telco package?, get the package and sell the phone individually not sure it legal or not since most shop here selling like that. but a cozen of mine, buy at that price when send for warranty no issue one.

in my previous post (in other tread), I mention they sell it cheaper est rm100-200 from the normal price

later I ask my fren who work at some of thoose shop for detail.

maybe wait for iphone 5s? seeing what they do with iphone 3 and 4, they might do the same thing

wait becoz current my current free phone is still new (s3), while my wiffu n8 still working. Plus most of my fren/family member who using ios/iphone 4/4s say not worth it for them

get both if u can, both platform have their own pro and cons, example android is power hunger, price drop fast and etc.. while ios/apple unable to simple stuff like sharing via blue tooth and so on..

for iphone 5, maybe if u not in rush myb can wait for iphone 5s

Added on September 16, 2012, 4:12 pmyeah they ios are quite stable and smooth so far, compare to android counterpart which in most cases need tweak and custom rom+higher spec to run everything smooth.

I guess this is due ios have less model/product and easier for developer to fully test n develop while android have more product/model and manufacturer..

my s3 using ori rom so far never crash yet,

well cannot blame 100% on samsung, which company who start the sueing game (ok with me thou) but not the banning game,

imagine what if iphone 5 been ban in malaysia as per requested by samsung

well depend on person needs, heck my sis 3gs still working fine, and she waiting for nokia 920 and iphone 5 to release first and let other people to try first, if ok then buy.

5s might come out as what apple did to their previous gen of iphone

as long it suit ur need, should be ok

as long can install custom rom, the device shouldn't be obsolete so fast (by seeing the hardware spec), heck my x8 i can install ICS custom rom smooth , faster then the ori froyo.
