I think iphone 5 is a better wait. It will trash S3 like nowhere.

Take s3 first la if you can't wait. Then when if iphone5 come later mah change to iPhone lor

Well, that seems to be the best answer of them all.

To TS, it's not really about "iPhone 5" vs Galaxy S3. It's actually down to "The next iPhone" vs "The next Galaxy Note". Here's why.

Quadcore Cortex A9 wont deliver much benefit for most existing apps. Scaling threads on mobile platform isn't always something easy to be dealt by apps, even on desktop the same dilemma is being faced. Hence, not much performance gain will be achieved in most cases.

Well again, why should wait for either Note 2 or iPhone 5/6/whatever? Note 2 gonna be based on dualcore Cortex A15, of which has been told by ARM that it should give better performance by default compared to a quadcore Cortex A9 SoC of the same clock. Knowing Samsung-Apple relationship in chip fabrication, Apple gonna use architecture of the same scale of Samsung's at the same point of time (albeit with different design). Heck, Apple even used Samsung's 32nm High-K process for chips on Apple TV3 first, long before Samsung used the same process on their own lineup. So it's possible that Apple's going dualcore Cortex A15 too.

btw, in the meantime TS should feel free to experiment with existing phones such as Galaxy S3. It's not like people should stick with one single phone for his lifetime.

I would wait for the next gen iPhone & iOS 6 because i'm more comfortable with iOS interface & integration. The quad core thing on the S3 won't bother me. Well, that's just me.

If you ask me, wait for iPhone 5 first then compare. No problem late a few months right? Moreover you might even save more who knows

Wallet Can support then just go and get S3 , nice to use and great battery life.
Wallet can't support then just wait for iPhone 5 announced and see that impressed you or not , if not just get the 8GB iPhone 4S by then should be 1600 +- if you still want iOS but it's same little upgrade thinner lighter faster .
I am very eagerly to see what's the new iPhone will offer as well. Reason bought S3 because too boring with iOS for the time being and since there is still around half year till can get my hand on new iPhone , better to try something new first. Well that's me.

Answer is simple. If u can't wait now, only s3 qualifies.

Of course, btwn that I wld choose ip4s.
Android doesn't impress me much.

Buy when you need. Current phone still working then wait lo.

It just doesn't make sense to me.....why wanna wait for iPhone 5?
S3 is android and iPhones are on iOS. It's gonna be a totally different experience...

Conclusion : want to use android? Buy s3!
Wanna use iOS? Buy iPhone 4s or wait for iPhone 5!

easier still...get a samsung tab and iphone / get ipad and android phone to have both experience xD

i'll only consider changing to iphone 5 if they change the screen size and design. iphone 4s was a total failure, considering the same design and Siri that i think only half of the population of 4s owners would use. i've been changing from the first generation to iphone 4 but 4s does it for me. let's give 5 another chance and we'll see what they can come out with. i guess the only thing that still attracts me to apple products is their timeless and contemporary design, compared to ugly samsung and htc phones.

anyway i'm no basher. i use both samsung and apple.
