If given a choice, will you buy your MacBook Pro Retina Display from Machines or Epi Centre or any others to recommend?

Looking for friendly and good customer service.

Thanks

Anyone using VMware Fusion 5? how does it perform on rMBP? I plan to use Windows for some light app development. Is it better that I use bootcamp? As I know virtual os will divide performance by half.

i would get it from Apple directly through the online store.
when it comes to reseller, theyre all the same, since warranty doesnt have to be send back to them, it doesnt make a difference where you're buying it from.

it will add bulkiness to a thin beautifully designed rMBP.
better to use sleeves when moving around and naked when using it

i wont get any casing for my mac also. the mac look so nice as it is, adding case will... hide all the goodness inside... then wonder what for I'm getting it anyway. Well, just my 2 cents... I'll just use a sleeve or bag to carry it, the rest i'll just leave it as it is, clean it from time to time, and be a little more careful.

I normally sell off my gadgets after a new refreshed model comes out.

So my rMBP would be with me for about a year or so, unless the refreshed model is nothing to get excited about. So once I sell it, I need it to be pristine in condition so that I can sell it at a better price.

Just saying. brows.gif blush.gif

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just wondering whether it is safer to ship the new Macbook Pro to a Reseller shop or directly to my house? What if it's lost? It's gonna cost RM 7000+.

Did you buy online? How was the experience?

Thanks

If you buy online through Apple, it will be ship through DHL to you.

Information of your purchase and processing status all can be check online. After its being ship, you can check the parcel movement through DHL website or by calling them.

Bought many MBP and iMac before. So far no issue of parcel lost or damage to the machine.

It will take time if your order require special custom parts or payment verification issue.
