im using steelseries sensei raw...no issue so far except that there are no driver for mac available yet at this moment..so to upgrade the firmware and etc etc i need to do it on windows..very laggy but when i install the tool from steelseries site,smooth and steady!very good mouse i can say

Did u guys know that theres a workaround to force office to render in retina...it aint perfect as u need to minimize and maximize to se the effect once. The icon doesnt improve much but the text is rendered in retinaand super clear...as oppose to the ugly text without the mod...

How? Care to share? Or link please.

i doubt so, even photoshop havent get updated for RD.
it should be updated by the end of the year

Most Adobe software is available for Mac, check adobe.com. Photoshop, Illustrator and flash was first developed on Mac.

I have tried Word, Excel and Powerpoint; and they all work great with this trick. The only thing is you need to minimize-and-maximize the window every time to enable the Retina-version

whenever i launch it from Launchpad, i dont get the retina resolution

Yeah.. Just copy the application back to launchpad once you edited the programme

Just pull the edited one to the Rocket on the dock lo... Whatever inside the Application Folder should be in Launchpad, I also kept a non retina copy of the Microsoft Words.

guys, do you have any heat problems with the retina macbook pro? i notice that, while surfing+downloading+watching you tube...i feel slight warmth on the top left side of my keyboard...up to uncomfortable to touch...but i didn't hear the fan kicking in...the problem is worse in windows 7 bootcamp, in idling state...that area is hot to touch, let alone gaming..yet still couldnt hear the cooling fan kick in..

i know that apple improve the nvh so much, but the heat is kind of annoying..previously i used macbook air 2010 both in mac osx and bootcamp and never come upon such problem....any ideas?

on bootcamp its worst because its running on discrete GPU, theres no drivers for the intel HD4000 GPU.
it will only run Nvidia 650M on bootcamp

rmbp user, which retina screen u guys have? Samsung or lg. Anyone of u got image retention? What can u do if there is, call apple for replacement or to service agent for numerous repairs or let them ignore u like always
