later the L920 RRP would be merely different much from the GN2... so no chance it will beat samseng team... whistling.gif

Here's from the nokia website: Camera features & a bit of others..

nokia 820:

8.0 megapixels, F2.2, Dual LED flash,
•Touch focus
•Landscape orientation
•Geo-tagging
•Auto and manual white balance
•Still image editor
•Lenses applications
•True 16:9 sensor
Video:
•Video recorder
•Video call
•Video sharing
•Video player

Nokia 920:

8.7 megapixels, F2.0, Short pulse high power dual LED
•Nokia PureView camera
•Touch focus
•Landscape orientation
•Geo-tagging
•Auto and manual white balance
•Still image editor
•Optical Image Stabilization
•Lenses applications
•Sensor size 1/3 inch
•Sensor type: BSI
•True 16:9 sensor
•Pixel size 1.4 µm
Video:
•Video recorder
•Video call
•Video sharing
•Video player

pureview 808:

41.0 megapixels, F2.4, , Xenon flash

•Touch focus
•Landscape orientation
•Exposure compensation
•Sequence mode
•Geo-tagging
•Auto and manual white balance
•Still image editor
•Face recognition
•Full screen viewfinder
•Self timer

•Center weighted auto exposure
•Auto exposure

•Exposure bracketing
•Time-lapse

Video:
•Video recorder
•Video streaming
•Video call
•Video editor
•Video sharing
•Video player

I think pureview symbian has more photographic features, except the very useful optical stabilisation function for photo, too bad.

Overall the nokia lumia 920 is great for overall functionality, leisure, business, daily uses with great navigation features. This 8+Megapixel need further comparisons with the existing pureview to know better in due course.

Important to know two things (or more if I can think of): Nokia 920 weight 185g agaist 808's 169g, which surprises me.

And this new Lumia 920 or 820 do not come with superior Rich Recording Technology. At least they did not mention any. Which is a huge pity !

hahaha you troll....anyway, come year 2020, pretty sure i'll be more glad to have pics in 38MP than 8MP. Like how I used to be wrong in 2000 thinking 4MP is good enough for archiving photos..blur images can be 'avoided' but you can't do anything to increase megapixel...and 920 don have ND filter too..

to avoid confusion or dilution of their Pureview brand, Nokia has updated the white paper at

http://i.nokia.com/blob/view/-/1824212/dat...ureview-820.pdf

btw, i think digi will promote this phone like nobody tongue.gif
