Nice pics. How you got new firmware? Mine still 309. What's your product code?

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Jul 27 2012, 08:06 AM)
yup, it is how the 808 handles dark area.. but after I update into newer firmware, the problem is still there but the newer firmware produces rather a pleasing result, by means, not that aggressive. And in the newer firmware (so far) I got no blank shots which the previous one always have. still, the banding issue is there but for me, satisfy jugak lahh lets wait for the Belle FP2 to come  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Do mind that in the second picture is a bit lower light than the first picture but it still produce less blue and not that aggressive in terms of noise  tongue.gif
edit very buruk, but in Android OK  sweat.gif

ima trying my luck to see if Nokia will do anything with it. screw my OCD'ness, already happened once with my iPad as well 2 months ago. sweat.gif

EDIT: nokia doesn't have exchange policy (Apple is the king in this regard), so i can just hope the coating all uniformly fade off. biggrin.gif

Mine is black, still very black, haha. I also have the white 808. Better dont exchange, you have to wait ages, ur 808 might come back with more scratches. Ur standard so high dunno how you can stand ur n95/97 for so many years.

I would not bother unless very big, long line across the back of the phone or the lense calar or screen crack while its new. I take care of my phone(also have an n9) ,just tak kuasa to take time and energy to complain abt the smaller defects.

true also. but phones and gadgets gonna get used anyway, hope my OCD'ness will fade away soon. on top of it, it's not that silver doesn't look nice, just that this stupid and silly "mine's not perfect while everyone else got perfect unit" keep bugging me at the moment, rather than the actual problem of the issue. sweat.gif

little ice, didnt mean to poke fun at you. No wor, I dont really care whether its black or whatever color, didnt even notice the color till you mention. I happy the back of my 10 mth old n9 still black, that one yes. My n9 has a thin line across the width due the the case, the case has hairline crack, but otherwise ok

sigh lol...

my standard also very high when i got the N95, and can go crazy if i saw a scratch on the phone. but after the first scratch, i thought what the hell just change the cover if it became so ugly, and use it naked only with screen protector on. in the end never change it cause by the time i want to change cover, the phone already obsolete and my OCD'ness already long gone.

you can say my posts are more like ranting, and just feeling helpless. fortunately my OCD usually last for a week or two. must learn from my father - new Galaxy Tab 7.7 after 1 week put on case (pasar malam case) and the case caused some scratch a bit but he's like nothing... =.=

After the first scratch, suddenly your life will brighten up a lot more, with very little concern about other minor defects. So ultimately you will be a happier person in long term.

I for one is one of those guys who bought his new car and never washed it at all even its brand new. So I am happy with scratches and minor defect. Its one of those 'zen' thingy

I saw my product code is available for the latest update but Nokia Suite said it isn't available,
So what to do?? download from Navifirm, flashed it using Phoenix laugh.gif

the newer fw didn't solve any of those banding issues (creaking autofocus recording also isn't fixed)
it only fixed the image algorithm (mostly in the cloudy situations where you get blank shots)
Its hard to explain what they have changed (but it is merely about ISO shots, I know)
but the black shot still present, only less sweat.gif

no any noticeable performance changes though, Belle Feature Pack 2 will do the job laugh.gif
