Hi, anyone know how to configure draytek for voip in Thompson to work?
The configuration now is bridge mode in thompson to get voip and let Draytek to connect
Alcatel Lucent > Thompson > phone & Draytek

However, I found instability in the connection where some times it will lost connection for around 1 minute and get back to work again.
I do not know the instability is caused by the thompson or the problem from ISP. I want to try configure it as follow
Alcatel Lucent > draytek > Thompson > phone
I already configure the vlan as follow for the internet which is working
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Then I configure the Multi VLAN for the WAN
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I connect Draytek LAN port 2 to Thompson WAN port but the voip of the thompson is not working. I go into it's web interface, I see that it's ip address under voice is 127.0.0.1, it cant get ip address from isp.

Refer to https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=53813946 , seems it can be done in mikrotik. but how about draytek?

I'm using Draytek 2912n, anyone can access the demo web interface from http://eu.draytek.com:12912/

is dd-wrt router supported for maxis fiber broadband?
I have a DIR615 with DD-WRT, and would like to use it as I am considering to upgrade from Unifi to Maxis fiber.

Hi everyone, i will be getting maxis fibre internet service soon in my office. Currently using Unifi and now adding maxis fibre internet as a backup internet.

The technician told me, will connect the maxis router to tm modem. If let say tm modem goes down, my maxis connection will be down also. No other way for the maxis router to set up?

Need your help and suggestion on this guys.. thanks

Anyone can help me share their Huawei HG850a configuration file, I'm changing the Lucent Alcatel I-240P ONT to Huawei HG850a so that I can set the VoIP with HG850a and totally without Thomson router.

From the pictures above the reason why I still need the maxis Thomson Gateway because I still need its VOIP rj11 plug -> to my VOIP gateway (IPPBX)
I dump the VLAN621 of the Maxis "internet" to this Mikrotik because the maxis router (Thomson) for internet sucks (hang) if lots of concurrent connections

I am using Mikrotik that support VLAN, that's why i still port the VLAN621 over instead of untag it on the Huawei VDSL modem

Thumbs up for this tutorial.

Hi Guys,

I just bought the TP Link WDR3600 to replace the Thompson router. Can I just configure all the VLAN to internet if I don't use the IPTV and the VOIP as I want to maximised the available LAN port to my others wired network.

Don't think you can as they are hardcoded. You may hwoever do so with Asus routers that support TM UniFi & Maxis Fibre (if using latest firmware).

Alternatively, buy a 5-port or 8-port switch to have more ports.

Yes you can, I don't think TP Link WDR3600 support VLAN with PPPoE
just login to the Huawei's gateway, with the tutorial on the first page, untag the VLAN part, then use your TPlink WDR3600 for PPPoE.

Yes, all my 4 ports now configured to VLAN Internet and working fine.

However, I can't connect to the Huawei Hg655a as per the first post. I connect my PC lan to the Port 1(tried also port 2) of the Huawei Hg655a and configured the PC IP to be 192.168.1.111 and the gateway to 255.255.255.0. I just can't connect to the 192.168.1.1 login page of Huawei Hg655a.

I wanted to use the port 2 of Huawei Hg655a to connect to the Thompson router for VOIP while port 3 of Huawei Hg655a to my custom router. The only way I can use my VOIP now is to connect the Thompson router to Port 2 of Huawei Hg655a but doing so, my custom router is down.
