From the pictures above the reason why I still need the maxis Thomson Gateway because I still need its VOIP rj11 plug -> to my VOIP gateway (IPPBX)
I dump the VLAN621 of the Maxis "internet" to this Mikrotik because the maxis router (Thomson) for internet sucks (hang) if lots of concurrent connections

I am using Mikrotik that support VLAN, that's why i still port the VLAN621 over instead of untag it on the Huawei VDSL modem

Thumbs up for this tutorial.

Hi Guys,

I just bought the TP Link WDR3600 to replace the Thompson router. Can I just configure all the VLAN to internet if I don't use the IPTV and the VOIP as I want to maximised the available LAN port to my others wired network.

Yes you can, I don't think TP Link WDR3600 support VLAN with PPPoE
just login to the Huawei's gateway, with the tutorial on the first page, untag the VLAN part, then use your TPlink WDR3600 for PPPoE.

Yes, all my 4 ports now configured to VLAN Internet and working fine.

However, I can't connect to the Huawei Hg655a as per the first post. I connect my PC lan to the Port 1(tried also port 2) of the Huawei Hg655a and configured the PC IP to be 192.168.1.111 and the gateway to 255.255.255.0. I just can't connect to the 192.168.1.1 login page of Huawei Hg655a.

I wanted to use the port 2 of Huawei Hg655a to connect to the Thompson router for VOIP while port 3 of Huawei Hg655a to my custom router. The only way I can use my VOIP now is to connect the Thompson router to Port 2 of Huawei Hg655a but doing so, my custom router is down.

Subnet 255.255.255.0, not gateway
