Moved house, had to switch from TIME to Maxis
Anyway, the GPON unit given to me is a newer? model: HG8240H
As far as I can tell, there's no problem logging into the admin interface at 192.168.100.1 without messing with anything using telecomadmin/admintelecom. Did a port scan, telnet and SSH are either off or blocked.
Interestingly enough, all 4 LAN ports work (seems like there's no more VLAN tagging) and the settings screens are very different from the screens posted in this thread previously. The LAN ports only work with the default RG provided by Maxis, all other routers do not want to connect via PPPoE.
Anyone have any clues as to how to get a 3rd party router working with this new hardware?
Common using on TP-Link TL-WR841HP or TL-WR1043N should work on Maxis FTTH.Anyway, the GPON unit given to me is a newer? model: HG8240H

I'm currently using TP-Link AC1750 Archer C7 v2, on OpenWRT firmware connecting to Maxis FTTH (Stock firmware failed to connect).
*they are people said Archer C7 v1 is unable to connect the VLAN Tag for UniFi/Maxis, what I read...
Think all the VLAN TAG compatible Open source Linux WRT based Router should be able to connect Maxis FTTH, but it is a bit tricky for settings.
Correct me.
