Maxis Connect to Maxis using Custom Router!, Guidelines

Hi all,
Maxis call me and give solution. They told me the easy solution is both router work together:- 1) Maxis router use as main router, Custom router us as AP. 2) Maxis router connect to modem by WAN and use for VOIP. 3) Custom router connect LAN 1 to Maxis LAN 1 (or any LAN port) as AP mode. |

Hi, Does anyone here know how to disable VLAN tag on the BTU(Huawei EchoLife HG8240)?

tested, and confirm.
the modify method will no longer work. maxis will disconnect when VLAN 621 is mapped to single port and untagged from modem. router that connect via PPoE this way won't work any more. sadly have to buy new router with WAN VLAN tagging support. |

Does anyone know how to setup the Maxis's Aminia MA131 router into bridge mode?
I want my own corporate router and IP-PBX to handle the internet and voice vlan. |

Does Maxis Fibre support Tenda AC18? Been using the default Maxis Technicolor (?) modem, and want to replace with Tenda AC18 (bought 2y ago). Is this possible? Or can only use as AP ?
