Double confirmed, with 4.0.4 the screen lock widget doesn't work as it used to be.

I came from AOKP M4 too.. no problem with it, until I tried most of the latest ROMS with 4.0.4 ICS, it doesn't work.

Other lock screen widget doesn't works too... This might be a bug for 4.0.4
*
Forget about it...I am currently no issue with lock screen.
I am on LiquidSmooth ROM 1.4. The Navi button allow me to custom long press function.
I assisgn recent & Home - long press to Power. So, whenever I long press the button, it will LOCK immediately & no more wakey....haha. icon_idea.gif

I still think that aokp is the most stable ROM and with the best customization
Tried a lot of new ROM recently, all offer similar ui responsiveness but aokp really win in terms of customization.
Like a guy every time strayed to another ROM but will go back to your wife = aokp .....lol

there are no best , just choose the 1 that suit u best . Rule of thumb, the higher the clock the more juice it should eat.

how to read his kernel name eg
TNP1536-512-STABLE65 = MAX CPU at 1536Mhz(u can go lower by using setcpu or similar apps)/ GPU at 512Mhz (fixed , can't lower)/ Stable release /based on version 65

TNP1786-307-ALPHA99 = MAX CPU 1786Mhz / GPU 307 Mhz/ ALPHA release (as the name suggest, its only an alpha)/ version99

Stock Gnex CPU MAX at 1.2Ghz and GPU set at 307Mhz

go for the stable release if you want proven and stable kernel

go for experimental release if you want to be living on the edge and test all the latest morfic put into the kernels

oh forgot this , if you noticed the kernel names either starts with TNP or TUV

TNP = Trinity Nexus Prime
TUV = Trinity Under Volt

So if you want to get a kernel with the lowest default power consumption, u can try TUV kernels BUT it may not work properly on your device as all device are different tongue.gif

Since i just got to know about amoled screen and its lifespan, what is the settings to prolong the screen?

1'm on LiquidSmooth 1.4 and Franco M4 right now.

What are the values for adjustments of the colors and gamma? I just reset both to defaults but for the Gamma tuning, even i click for default (60) it will go back to max value (80). No problem with Color tuning. Is the lesser value means safer?

I am on paranoid Android 4.0.4 and our it's working fine.

I think you need to install the latest version of screen lock app.

try "screen off and lock" app from play store.
latest version should work.

i listed a few times some time ago.. kinda 4got.
if wan more vivid natural, blu>r/g by 20%, gamma 60
if wan save the screen, r/g= 20, b=30, gamma 30-40
the proble of amoled is only when multiplier exceed limit(180 values in colour correc, 60gamma.)
srry if values abit wrong, havent tuned colour like that long time adi

That's why I've lost my faith on MIUI in Galaxy Nexus...

My sister's SGS Captivate and my brother's SGS II have very smooth MIUI ROM. But, for Galaxy Nexus, it's like NIGHTMARE!! doh.gif
