Searched around and found problem posted in RootzWiki. Damn... I'll my contact photos cannot be restored because of this bug, else will show up grey!
*
i just noticed that i have the same issues with some pics, they will turn grey. Not only in the gallery but sometimes in Flipboard as well. Flashed back b35 and confirmed the issue is not there.

However, only a few of my images are affected, so not really a biggie but definitely an issue.

How are you restoring your contact photos ??? i've tried to use other app such as filexpert and quickpic to view those broken images and they turn up fine

When ip5 is out. Gonna get ip4 just because of the front camera. Can nexus camera take picture like the IP? For front only. Any 3rd app? Lol
*
are you serious ??? of course Gnex can use the front cam to snap photo ! you can even shoot video with it hahaha

no 3rd party app required, just use the default camera app. There is a camera icon with arrows below it. Click on it to switch the camera between front and back

It kept my phone awake as seen from battery status, so the usage was like 85% in total.

How did it happens, well I was travelling yesterday, so connection was rather scarce throughout the highway.

I received an email with attachments in it. Most of the time I have problem downloading the attachment (photo) from our Lotus Notes Traveler server, so I decided to forward it to my Gmail. There was a message that said, 1 of the attachments have to be downloaded before it can be forwarded. After a whole day, I still didn't managed to receive that email in my Gmail and there was nothing showing in the Exchange on my phone.

So I guess that was the culprit. Don't do heavy stuff when you don't have a stable connection.

I have removed the account, now the phone is charging normally. Will add it back again after I have completed my charge.  sweat.gif
*
oic !! Thanks for the info . So its like some process got stuck and keep trying that causes your phone not to sleep la ?

ok ok... understand liao ...

Naked while waiting for a casing to be delivered.

I guess you don't know because you are with a casing since Day 1.
*
don't worry too much ... just aim better tongue.gif

i don't think casing will help if you don't aim better, the outlet for the usb port for all casing are bigger then the port itself = you will still scratch it if you don't aim properly.

having said that, i don't use any casing and have been connecting the usb port with the charger in pitch dark condition for countless time, no scratches or chips yet thumbup.gif

Just got this babe today.

ICS on Gnex is way different compare to galaxy s2 ICS

I kinda plan to root this babe...

I will using Gnextoolkitv1.4.
Any tips? I hope, I not mess up when root this babe kinda noob lol
*
S2 s3 and note ICS all are skinned heavily ...

On Gnex what you get is pure ICS the way it was intended and the way it won the gold for Best System Experience at the 2012 User Experience Awards lately smile.gif

1) any of u using "google ime pinyin"? when typing a msg if i wanna jump to line 2, how to write msg decending line by line? i can't find the enter key on the keypad.

2) what is this rom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-_IR5AvYuQ

QUOTE(fallout @ Jun 16 2012, 05:41 PM)
Yea, that's what I want to ask, don't seems to find any "enter" key... did they forget it again? Same like ICS keyboard?
*
It's not that they forgot to put the enter key there

It's because Google keyboard are all contexts aware ,meaning it will change according to the input field type. Like replying in this forum , the enter key will appear on the bottom right. When u write SMS the enter key will become Smiley face.

This is the same issue that I am facing...anyone facing similar case?
The way Android handle screen off have changed from 4.0.3 and 4.0.4

Software such as smart screen off & lock that were coded for 4.0.3 and below will not work properly and will have the problem you are facing.

I think a update of the software might help if the dev tweaked their codes to support 4.0.4. I personally stopped using software locks cuz AOKP's nav bar power button iz much moar awesummzzz tongue.gif
