Guys, is my battery use normal? Stock yakju 4.0.4 and kernel. There was a period overnight where it ran on airplane mode for about 4 hours. On sync with Gmail and Whatsapp. 50% brightness.

QUOTE(djlah @ Jun 13 2012, 03:19 PM) how much ip5? should be around similar princing with ip4 when newly launch. But you can't deny that a lot of people willingly buy those products Again, Apple give you "yesterday technology but tmr price". Now that The World's Greatest Salesman AKA Steve Jobs is gone, we'll see what kind of sales iPhone 5 gets. |

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Jun 14 2012, 05:16 PM) this makes me hate this phone really But but didn't that happen to the previous 2 Nexi as well? Price dropped faster than other Samsung popular droids. Seriously I don't understand why this phone isn't popular and is not getting much marketing from Samsung.it has no second hand value at all unlike the SGS series less than a year the price dropped almost half |

QUOTE(springfall @ Jun 14 2012, 07:56 PM) bro, if u can predict the market, must call me be business partner arr Actually the 2nd-hand price is quite predictable.i doubt i'll ever meet some1 like that iPhone - hardly falls all year long Samsung and HTC - falls slowly, flagships are more resistant SE and LG (and maybe Motorola) - drops fast, you will face big loss even if you buy 2nd-hand and sell 2 months later This is from experience, have bought and sold 8 2nd-hand phones within 1 year. |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jun 15 2012, 12:05 PM) To be honest , Most of the time .. the busiest thread around here are all talking nonsense/chit chat Correct. Like kopitiam only. Want to find useful info also very difficult. Some talk about college exams, bla bla.Tried OTG cable yesterday. Unlike S2 where the functionality is activated out-of-the-box, our Nexus requires root and the StickMount app before it will recognize a thumbdrive. Another disadvantage in Samsung's stepchild |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jun 15 2012, 02:30 PM) don't worry too much ... just aim better Agreed... those outlets are all much bigger... cucuk baik-baik bang, jangan tak kena...i don't think casing will help if you don't aim better, the outlet for the usb port for all casing are bigger then the port itself = you will still scratch it if you don't aim properly. having said that, i don't use any casing and have been connecting the usb port with the charger in pitch dark condition for countless time, no scratches or chips yet May I know what the sticker protections are called? They cover the whole phone? |

Flashed to AOKP last night, milestone 5, stock kernel. Am I missing anything major from build 39?
BTW, I noticed my phone data connection will be turned off sometimes, and it won't come back until I go to airplane mode and back or reboot. Can other kernels help? |

QUOTE(danieloo @ Jun 21 2012, 10:39 AM) I think it's got to do with the Power Save mode in the Unicorn menu. Ah. But my powersave is off. It happened with stock yakju as well. Nobody experienced that? Hmmm...If you activate that, you will go for DATA off when screen off. HTH. QUOTE(springfall @ Jun 21 2012, 10:46 AM) go straight to b38, for me to say. B38, okay. Any ICS-optimised live wallpapers which runs lag-free on our Nexus? Like the Phase Beam. Some of the built-in ones are really laggy, man.

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Jun 23 2012, 10:23 AM) DSP Manager can't be used or installed that way... Oh, thanks. Loved DSP Manager but not in AOKP It's dedicated to the specific ROM. If your ROM doesn't have it in the 1st place, it can't use DSP Manager. Pushing APK into the system/root have no effect either. So, all you can do is getting other Equalizer app. |

Not sure if this method (adb push) has been suggested, but it's what I did. Didn't try Odin or ToolKit...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895 BTW, how do we use TTF fonts on Nexus? Used Font-Changer back in GB days but seems like got problems in ICS. I'm desperate for Choco Cookie font, it reminds me of my old Samsung days. |
