Galaxy Nexus LOW in sound is due to it's OLD FIRMWARE.
Updating it will fix all BUG for you(basically), especially the Low Volume bug. |

hello guys, just got my gnex for 3 days, and its been pleasure using this phone..upgraded from good old nexus s slcd..but i have many questions to ask since this is my first S amoled phone..the screen got yellow tint, but i manage to get rid of it by adjusting RGB multiplier, the question is
1.Does increasing RGB multiplier (200 and above) decrease S amoled screen lifespan, and prone tu burn in effect? 2.i got purple tint on low brightness, and in the dark on black background where some part of the screen lights up i can actually see inside of the screen, its looks like fungus that grew on the old bread..and on white BG such as in msging app, its looks so grainy..again all of these issue happen to me on low brightness(10% and below) except the fungus one..i cant actually believe this is samsung phone..(sigh) i think thats all for now..highly appreciated if someone can explain to me ( especially the fungus part, urghhh!!) nvm, i found a thread about this just now, its seems that the glass is dirty on the inside, and it affect many unit..sigh samsung... source This post has been edited by DunkyKung: Jun 19 2012, 12:37 AM |

QUOTE(DunkyKung @ Jun 19 2012, 01:02 AM) nope, this image is not my screen, but my issue is identical to this although is much less serious.. The AMOLED screen will have grainy look if set to low brightness, but too look fungy... that is too extreme. After setting brightness to around 30% all the grainy feel will be gone.Care to take a picture and see how it looks? |

As far as I know, AMOLED screens will have these effects. Nothing currently can be done except setting higher brightness.and my first question just now, 1.Does increasing RGB multiplier (200 and above) decrease S amoled screen lifespan, and prone tu burn in effect? can u explain it? I'm not sure about burn in effects but guys here said it will, so believing or not depends on you. If you plan to use it long term, preventing is anything bad won't hurt, right? |
